@Marc I'm running windows 10 and I still have that directory. The only difference is theres no space between burst and wallet. C:\Users\Burst\AppData\Roaming\BurstWallet\burst_db. If you're having an issue redownloading it, you could go to Help - Clean up DB via the wallet and see if it downloads there after you login local.

@iKnow0 Almost sounds like your plot didnt finish all the way. If its not a big plot would troubleshoot by replotting.

RE: Noob question about how the best DLs are selectedposted in Mining & Plotting
@vmantilla said in Noob question about how the best DLs are selected:
So, the more capacity you have, the more of the blockchain you have, correct?
Not more of the blockchain. Just higher amount of nonces you have, the more power you have.

@darindarin You could win off a 23 min. I won a 17 min block before and it was the longest 17 min of my life... When you're pool mining, Submitting good deadlines even though you're not winning the block is still earning you shares.

@isaackp Havn't seen that error before. But unless you're solo mining you can get away with just using the online wallets

@kevmachine HD Tune is a good app to see HDD performance. Optimizing your plot you'll see better read speeds, and generally using the GPU miner is faster than CPU

To check if you have USB 3.0, go to Device Manager and expand the USB option. If you have usb 2.0 it'll say Universal Host. but for USB 3.0 it'll actually say USB 3.0.

RE: Need 1 Burst ( again )posted in Help & Support
Depends what pool you're in. The settings is called TargetDeadline though. burstcoin.cc/network shows the target deadlines for the pools.
and for some reason, sending burst to you is timing out right now.
Edit: Didnt know the pools told the miner the max deadline. Always did it manually.

Sent some your way. The skipping is normal. its finding deadlines higher than 691200. Check the max limit on the pool you're currently in and change it in settings.
