RE: BurstCoin.ml's Pool
How shares work
Your shares are kept for 99 rounds/blocks that we did not win, anything older then 99 rounds/blocks the shares are deleted. The shares are based off your DL and the blocks DL, so whoever has the best DLs throughout the last 99 rounds/blocks will have more shares. The block is divided between the shares. For a example say we have won a block of a value of 2,150 Burst, and we have 50 miners and the pool has a total of 500,000 shares between the miners, and you have 15,000 shares of that, about half of that block will be sent to the block finder, then the pool will payout the rest of that block to the shareholders, you would get 500,000/15,000 1,120/33.333333333-1 = 32.6 Burst. There is no max or min amount of shares. Each payout is different, the pool could have 750,000 shares one payout and could have 50,000 the next between all the miners. There is no set amount of Burst per share. The Burst are divided between how many shares the miner has. So if you mine for 6 hours and then stop, your shares will get pushed out of the pool after 99
rounds. It is highly recommended to mine 24/7.
In real life you will probably make 300 burst per week, if your mining 24/7/365. If you send me your address I can send you some burst and the pool's asset.
RE: Lexicon's .NET Burst All In One Wallet (Chromium)
@Lexicon Need to make this for Ubuntu, I would tip at least 2K! Also add a feature to distribute burst to a list of addresses, it would make it nice when sending bonuses to my miners on my pool, and would add 1K to the tip.
RE: Lot of 2 Dell Poweredge R410 servers for sale.
@ScreamIndevnull I bought 20 servers from work, thay were barebone. No CPUs, RAM or trays. I was hoping to rebuild them and make a few bucks doing it. Kinda hard to say if I make anything after I sell them, time eBay takes there fees. eBay fees are crazy! I need to order 40x trays, 64x8GB 10600R RAM sticks, and 32x X5650 CPUs to complete the rest of them. The nice thing is that since I'm ordering bulk some eBay sellers give me a little bit of a discount. My goal was to give these servers a ton of power, that's why I went with a 6 core CPUs, you can find the servers all over on eBay with 4 cores CPUs. And I also like it when you have a couple empty RAM slots, to add more RAM later, that's why I went with 4x8GB RAM sticks, so you can easily add 4 more sticks later on to give it 64GB. Everybody on eBay just want to fill them up with 4 GB sticks. I also picked the faster RAM 1333MHz in stead of 1066MHz, I have a couple of the servers you do notice a big difference between the RAM speeds. They make nice desktops, just throw a nice GPU in it and there you go, I think I'm using Nvidia GT 730 2GB in mine, with that GPU you can keep it in 1U case.
