@haitch Not sure, maybe the client wallet cache's an IP address somewhere in the windows operating system, like C:\Users\Antony\AppData\Roaming\BurstWallet or similar?

RE: pool.burst-team.us - error mining - change reward assignmentposted in Help & Support
@haitch Tried flushing DNS, I still get the same error. I have an internal DNS server on one of my networks and I connected a burst miner to that network about a week ago. The DNS server is running Simple DNS Plus. It is only configured to block google advertising sites and then forward all other requests to google dns servers. Could that in some way be causing the burst client to do a dns lookup via the simple dns server and in term carry out multiple dns lookups against burst servers giving the effect of a DOS attack?

pool.burst-team.us - error mining - change reward assignmentposted in Help & Support
I am getting the following error when mining on pool.burst-team.us:
[ERROR 1004] Your Burst account's reward recipient (32TT-TSAC-HTKW-CC26C) doe
ot match pool's account (6WVW-2WVD-YXE5-EZBHU)
You need change reward assignment and wait 4 blocks (~16 minutes)Not getting this error when mining on other pools.
I have ensured that I changed my reward assignment correctly for this pool. Getting this error on miner multiple PCs. Started about 1 week ago after about a year of mining with no problems.

RE: Cheap 8TB Drives!!!!! (Now Cheaper)posted in General Discussion
@CesBurst1782 I was thinking of buying some of these drives also. Any idea how long ROI would be, and also how long it is currently expected to be able to mine burst before it becomes unprofitable?

New Burst Walletposted in Help & Support
Didn't work: http://burstcoin.biz/faucet
Did work: either http://faucet.burstcoin.pt/ or https://faucet.burst-team.us/ worked, can't remember which one I usedAlso, the payments I am getting currently are are 70-80 burst a day as only mining 1TB, but a few days ago I got 1'163.3027661
Is that over a thousand burstcoin? Why does it have a " ' " character in the number? If over a thousand then why would I get that one day and then back to 70-80 a day afterwards. Did I hit a burst block or some other reason?

RE: New Burst Walletposted in Help & Support
@iKnow0 No confirmations. Left overnight and in morning the wallet blockchain was downloading, continue all day. When it finished I tried to send some furst from the faucet but it still seemed to fail. I then selected a different facet, the 5 burst coin faucet rather than 2 burst coin facet and that worked, so am now plotting mining.
Makes me wonder if the 2 burst coin facet is a bit temperamental possibly? Or maybe my workstation or wallet was causing the issue.

Burst coins sent from facet to activate wallet are not appearing in the new wallet.
