@haitch said in Is GPU plotting useful?:
@ProSportsPhotog Xplotter is pretty damn close to that - it only needs to know your ID, and where you want to start plotting - everything else is a tweak.
Not from what I noticed. I had to try and figured out starting and ending. This is the last thing I want to do. And the AIO does this on it's own. I prefer a system get it right so I am getting everything out of the drive. As stated, if they could make a GPU system that is like the AIO (not a little like it, not a lot like it) but LIKE IT.. it would be a beautiful thing. :)

If they could figure out how to make it where we would not have to figure out all the numbers (ie. just click plot) like the AIO... this would be gold!

RE: Storj (mods) and system SUCKS.posted in Off Topic
@darindarin Sounds good in theory but all they have to do is rename themselves and move on. There are lots of failed ICO's out there that have taken peoples money and run. At the same time look at how they are handling people, complaints, and development. They are failing miserably. Meanwhile they have everyones cash locked up?
I don't trust them. Just sold out of my 1200.00 in storj. They can kiss my ass.

@ProSportsPhotog im having a lot of issues with them also ... i can get over the monthly payment thing if their user interface was better and you didnt have to change router settings and open ports etc.. that isnt user friendly the majority of people dont know they can access their router through their ip address in the browser.. ..
also their token sale might not even complete.. im kind of annoyed they havent even released the tokens yet.. i think they have till the 20th to complete it and they havent even manufactured the token yet and its been sold out a month
I was unaware of the token sale and coins not being provided. Wow...
The Titanic has nothing on the failure (sinking) of this platform. They maybe responsive but all they are doing is tossing up smoke and mirrors. They are going to fail miserably with the UI they have up. Along with the ports (I went through that as well) and the allocation. They have been doing this for sometime and still come up short. Bleh

Storj (mods) and system SUCKS.posted in Off Topic
- Their gui, it's garbage.
- The fact that you can't see how many coins you are making? It takes a month and they put up a cheesy spread sheet?
I discussed this with their mods and their words were "they aren't developing to be user friendly". LMAO.. so they want new users, they are having an issue getting new users, but there is no focus on it. #Failure
Then I asked about ROI and I was told that there was no ROI. That I should not have purchased drives to invest into Storj. WTF are they even talking about?
This group is the most clueless group of degenerates I have ever seen. And a bit ignorant as well seeing as they claim to have the largest network in the world. They said it right in the chat room, you can't make this shit up. lmao..

@PingOfd3ath i hear you but as it gets bigger my payouts have gotten lower. Thats why I was asking. It was better with 7 people, now it's getting big

might be a bit biased but i say http://poolofd32th.club, we are growing a good bit and winning several blocks now
@PingOfd3ath Any idea on other small pools "like yours was 3 days ago"? that produces mining results like yours did? Yours is going to be out of my reach soon! =(

the wallet is already released. its here https://forums.burst-team.us/topic/5424/lexicon-s-net-burst-all-in-one-wallet-chromium it also notifys when theres an update and what the update has.
the part were working on is something to generate them values for you. its a bit difficult to do though as every situation isnt the same
I can imagine. And I will tell you first and foremost. THANK YOU for trying. Because honestly I about threw my hands up 3 weeks ago when I could not get any of it to work. Someone locally helped me get 3 of the drives up and going. I hope you can get it going my friend!

RE: What pool should i use for my half petaposted in Mining & Plotting
@PingOfd3ath Agreed. Good place.. but us small guys at 21tb won't be able to hang much longer lol.

RE: What pool should i use for my half petaposted in Mining & Plotting
@tross I wish I had luck there. It was a great little niche spot. But as I had told you with my 21tb I only received a little bit of coins. When I went to this other pool I avg 300/400 a day easy. That won't last either though as it's getting big like yours lol.
And giving away is great but when it goes to the same people it's not all that beneficial. That being said, thanks for all of your hard work and providing a place for the big boys to go. :)

OK, OK... Stop teasing us. Now I won't be able to sleep tonight. Feels like the night before Xmas.
Agreed. When you say "setup devices.txt" you mean all the number parameters @Lexicon ? This is what needs to be made easier for me anyway. I will never get that right no matter how hard I try. I've tried it and punched my hand through one wall in my office already.
Ill keep hoping and praying for an automated setup like the CPU one where it's click and go! Whooo! =)

I heard that Lexicon's AIO Wallet can do GPU plotting? @Lexicon Or is it not implemented yet?
Be interested in finding out! I didn't hear anything about that. Wonder if it figures out all the numbers etc.. like the AIO does now (but for GPU). :)

@vmantilla said in Need an easier GPU plotter...:
And, what brand is your GPU? It seems my Gigabyte card will not work with gpuPlotter (even though it has OpenCL 1.2), but it will work fine to mine with jminer (a GPU miner).
Try xplotter. It is what is used by you AIO wallet. Slower than Christmas, but reliable.
Make sure you have something else to do while xplotter is doing its thing. At least, have some chips available :)
LOL the hell with the chips! I have beer!
And we used Jminer. I think the settings maybe off. IT would plot al the way to the end and only leave a bit of space and fail. I would use plot checker and it was like.. ."NOPE!".
I had someone else plot the damn things and they used the AIO as did I on my computer to get it done faster. I know the GPU will work but putting all the settings in suck and I don't have the patience for it.
if someone put the effort into the GPU plotter like they did the AIO it would be amazing. Just seems like all support is gone now.

@ProSportsPhotog AMD or nVidia GPU? AMD works great for me, nVidia - not so much.
I was the one with all of the Nvidia issues if you recall. 3 diff people tried to get it to work, an it did, FAST... but kept failing.

@ProSportsPhotog Just wanted to say Thanks for mining on the pool
You're welcome. I will do so until it's profitable. Seems like a lot of big boys are coming in so I will be back to 100 a day and that won't be good for me lol. Will see how it goes after I get my other 8tb back up.
Appreciate it!
