RE: Double standard much......posted in General Discussion
The most important part of burstcoin is its network and blockchain, as long as you are with the longest chain, you will be fine. Those who think that individuals are somehow more important than the network itself or the people maintaining its security are those who don’t actually understand how cryptocurrency really works. They are not in it for its ideals but are more there because they see it as an opportunity to scam and make a quick buck and these types of individuals seem to have a very short shelf life.
There is nothing to worry about over here, competition is healthy, it can be dirty sometimes as in the real world but over the long run it is content quality that will make the difference between the forums. If I were a betting man, I would put my money on this forum to survive and thrive and get much bigger in the future.
There are people who believe that any publicity is good publicity and that’s exactly what’s going on here, they are using this “war” to bring more members and page views to their website and some guys are unfortunately falling for it. “Ignore the troll” and the troll will just go back and hide in its cave.
A web designer can give you the best-looking forum but what he/she can’t give you is history, cumulative knowledge in this forum’s threads and class.
For those who are worried about the timing, I say it is better that these kind of disagreements have surfaced now while burstcoin is still relatively small and frankly dirt-cheap.

RE: BURST FORUM AND BURST NATION WHATS DIFFERENCE LOOKS ALMOST SIMILAR THEN WHY TWO~posted in General Discussion
@focus
How about you come up with a proper and fair analysis of the project over its life span, which happens to be close to 3 years instead of spewing the same bovine excrement over the last couple of days?I appreciate what Adam has done for Burstcoin, I have always liked watching Adam’s videos going back to the Burgers for the homeless days and I was even thinking about asking him to do the same but with burstcoin donations instead. I fail to find a single post that criticised Adam or denied that he had any positive effect on the burstcoin ecosystem. So I don’t understand why you keep bringing his name up, can he not do the same by and for himself?
The facts are there for everyone to see, all you need to do is a bit of digging, 1200+ pages of the original burstcoin thread would be a good start. There was a time when burst had no website, no forum, no working block explorer, less than a handful of pools, multiple network issues (and no it wasn’t haitch’s fault), now you can do video’s all you like (I have to give a shout out to @riskyfire who has been mining and making videos about burstcoin since early 15), you can get as many retweets as you like, if there is no infrastructure to support the growth then the promotion would have been pointless.
If it was all down to promotion and retweets, then VIRAL and its holders would still be happily trading it on bittrex and it would have grown its community by 1000’s of members ( https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1041025.3720 )
If you expect people to show you gratitude, then you have to show that yourself to those who carried on mining and keeping the network secure, donators to various projects and to those developers who built the infrastructure you came to enjoy and reap the rewards months later with your assets. Until then you were no where to be seen within the community, you were a nobody and believe me not many people know who you are outside of your “little circle” and “private” chatrooms.
Talking of facts let me give you a fun fact, much less than 1% of the membership of this forum has posted on this thread. So I don’t really understand why you are making a big issue out of this anyway.
People are free to use either website, as far as I am concerned, the more websites the better but let’s not turn this personal and shit on people’s door steps. Thank you @crowetic and whoever helped get the new website built.

RE: How to find users in my country that use burstcoinsposted in Welcome
you might find the sourceforge website where dawallet's AIO is downloaded useful
It's currently showing 14 instances were downloaded in Sri Lanka which may or may not equate to 14 usershttps://sourceforge.net/projects/burstwindowswallet/files/stats/map?dates=2015-07-08+to+2017-01-28
