With all the issues I've been having with pools lately decided to try solo for the first time and hit a block within the first hour of mining and missed another by a min or so. Not bad...

@Han-Solo pool has definitely fallen in the ranks of daily blocks won cause of this issue I believe. I cringe thinking of blocks possibly won that deadlines were never sent :(

@Han-Solo Yeah I've been fighting network issues for a couple days now thinking it was my connection. DL's not confirming and almost lost a block but I hurried up restarted the jminer and it submitted and won it, just happen to be sitting my my desk and seen it. Tried blagos miner and seen as low as 15% network quality. Changed pools and everything is zippy again, don't think I have enough plots to solo with close to 90tb's plus don't exactly know how lol.

I'm guessing pool side....
504 Gateway Time-out now and still getting lots of connection timed outs...

Anyone else getting these connection timeout issues? Is it the pool end or my end? I'm worried about missing deadlines being sent cause I get not confirmed warnings once in a while.

@ChuckNorris what about THE pool for big miners!
pool.ccminer.net port 8080Yeah come aboard! When Chuck Norris does push ups, he isn't pushing himself up, he's pushing the earth down!

RE: Filled up half a PetaByte. Now What?posted in Mining & Plotting
@ChuckNorris My current mining rig is a asrock extreme 3 gen 3 with i5 2500k stocks speeds with 16gigs ddr3 ram and a GTX 960.
My new plotting and mining rig i'm still getting setup is a ASRock Fatal1ty X370 Professional Gaming AM4 AMD X370, ryzen 7 1700 and 16 gigs ddr4 ram. Plotting with xplotter atm with 12 of 16 threads is a little over 15k nonces/min
It's got 10 sata3 ports, 8 usb3 ports and 3 pci express x16 slots for my usb3 controller cards.

RE: Filled up half a PetaByte. Now What?posted in Mining & Plotting
@ChuckNorris Yeah optimizing will see a big gain in read speeds. It's been a while since I've plotted unoptimized then optimize them as I use xplotter now but if I remember it was close to double scan speeds after the optimizing.
