@CaptainSparrow You need to change reward receipient and change the miner config (or use the win client).
It will need a day or two to get your first payout.
Its been longer than that. :) around 4 days now.

@CaptainSparrow
It's more a matter of taste. They are all legit. I'll list the smaller ones now:pool.devip.xyz
pool.burstcoin.de
burstmining.club
tross Burstcoin pool
Italian PoolIt's worth mining on them to strengthen the decentralization of the network. Big investors check these numbers more than you think.
Thanks i will try them. :) except burstpool.de i got nothing from them last time.

@CaptainSparrow Go to one of the smaller pools. Not .ninja or burst-team pool!
Thanks. Can you recommend one?
Well, i got absolutely nothing from burstpool.de despite getting some green lines, currently trying to plot a 4TB drive so which would be a decent pool to be mining on with around 3.5TB?
Not looking for enormous payouts just steady mining - i will give this a shot, however, not impressed with burstpool.de i am hoping for better things :) Thanks guys.

@CaptainSparrow Regardeless to the blockchain, shouldn't take more than 8 hours but if it does completely close your client (check in the tray!), download the blockchain from db.burst-team.us and extract the files to :
%AppData%\Roaming\BurstWallet\burst_db (AppData folder is hidden!)
When you're asked if you want to replace the existing files say yes! Then reopen the client and wait around 10 minutes (sometimes take a little longer) and LocalWallet should be working!
Happy mining!
I cant find that Roaming\BurstWallet\burst_db it says no such path exists even with app data pit in there, guess i will just leave it downloading slowly, it is moving buy barely.
I am getting a 4TB drive and plottong it over the weekend, so hopefully i will have some good mining coming alond then :) 200k in 3 months is pretty good, Thanks for the help, i am switching to a better pool once my 4tb drive is plotted.

@CaptainSparrow I suspect it will take a lot of time until you get some coins with your 50GB, the DE auto Payout is at 150 Burst or 24h after your first burst mined... what is your Burst address?
Address is BURST-5D6M-FWWU-TCDS-HBEPK - i will see what i get, i know its only 50gb but when i get my bigger drives if its worth it i will keep on mining :) the blockchain is taking forever to download on local wallet i have to go online.
Thanks then guys, ..... just waiting for payment now from the pool LOL :) Got nothing there yet.
It says

@CaptainSparrow Just checking, have you sent and received a burstcoin through your wallet?
Yes the miner is working. Actually i am getting "miner has stopped" if i use AVX so i must use default for now until i get a bigger HDD
@gpedro said in A total mess....:
@CaptainSparrow What matters is your plot size! Bigger plot size equals best DeadLines equals more green rows xD
Use the AVX if the miner says on top that your PC is compatible (should be...) the CL miner is to read the plots using your GPU and it's a faster, but with yours 50Gb you'll not see any difference, you see some difference if you had a lot of HDD plotted...
And you can close the wallet client, you don't even need the client to start the miner, if you starts the miner manually!
I will try AVX for a while then, thanks for the info!.
