@haitch said in not getting paid what the block reward said!:
@Amoulier Both your deadlines were on the long side, so there were likely a number of other miners with DL's close to yours. This significantly dilutes your share of the 60% for the current round. Your historic average is pretty low - of the 40% paid to that side of the pool you're getting just over 2 burst. So given the time on your forged blocks and historic shares, 600 or so is not unexpected or unreasonable.
that was what I thought ... But needed to be sure of it. Thanks for the responses!

Blocks:
#357706
#355394
This has happened twice and I'm curious.
Why I have won two block and have been paid around 600 burst, when the block reward was 1,840 burst?
This did not happened on previews wined blocks.
This is not exactly what your asking for. but i have manage to run, a miner maked for windows, on a macbook pro using wine... follow the tutorial an apply it for linux.
https://forums.burst-team.us/topic/3175/xplotter-for-optimized-plots-cpu-on-macos
@CryptoNick Sorry if i din'd write this earlier but I have a MSI R9 290X:
PLATFORM-[0] AMD Accelerated Parallel Processing - (OpenCL 2.0 AMD-APP (2264.11))
* DEVICE-[0] Hawaii (4GB) - Advanced Micro Devices, Inc. (OpenCL 2.0 AMD-APP (2264.11) | '2264.11')
* [0] work group size: '256', computing units: '44', available 'true'
I commented on this thread because the problem is the same.
But i'm still have this question unanswered... How is possible that xplotter can write faster than the gpu in the same drive?
@Blago I got a dual xeon mother board set up... 6 cores each one and 24 threads... kind of overkill workstation to edit videos.
I don't get this... If the problem is the drive itself, then why explotter can write more nonces/mimute than the gpu...
here is my explotter plotting the same drive:

I'm Having the same problem... Hope someone help us solve this problem or figure it out!
@iKnow0 Both of the have on board cable connection!
@iKnow0 OK.. But in what rig are you proposing I use it?
remember the purpose of this post is to help me select what build to do, not the components... but thanks for the suggestion will think about it.
@socalguy I'm planning on buying extra hdd's... that's just the essential to make the rig work!
Has the title said, I'm building my first custom rig, the purpose of this rig will be for mining burst coin when not using it and to edit videos on adobe premier (that's the second main purpose of it).
The thing is that not a expert on this matter and need a littler help. I have come with this two options based on the adobe premier needs and taking on mid that almost all the miner support opengl, saidthat here are the links to the buidls... for purposes of identifing the both of them will call the by "Rig 1" and "Rig 2" :
I'm not interested on who will cost me less, I'm interested on performance and upgrade possibility in a future. Your help will be appreciated!
More than pleased, the idea to have a central chat for burst coin it's not bad at all!
This is a great addition to the community... has I have commented before in the chat... "This should be added to the pools"
@Blago me neither I just kept experimenting with wine and managed to make it works... Actually I made a tutorial on this forum on how to make it... Xplotter for Optimized Plots (cpu) on MacOS
@Blago ok I know what is the error.... I'm running xplotter on my mac true wine, the think is that running it that way, create two files, the plot and another file called like the plot but ending in "/stream", normally I erase that file after the plot is done, and that error don't show up, but this time I erase it as soon has explotter create it! here a example of what I'm talking.
I hope the electric service do not get interrupted till I end this plot or I will have to start from 0 again... because my macbook pro have battery, but the hdd dock is connected directly to the wall... Me and my greats ideas!
Hi folks I'm plotting 4tb right now and explotter is giving my this error... Someone has seen this befor? Or can tell me what is it?
I have bought 2 hdd from @superskid and I just have to thanks him publicly... He's a man of patience and comprehensive and above of all has given my a good price for both hdd's... Has I have told him before privately, I will repeat it here. "Has been a pleasure to do business with you @superskid"
Will look forward to do business again.
