Hello community,
When I mine on the pool, say for example pool.burstcoin.eu I see when the pool identifies a block and it lists all the miners and their shares (on the left side of the page with the timer).
Sometimes if the timer says 10 hours remaining or sometimes even 1 hour remaining, it suddenly disappears and a new block comes in the picture.
What exactly is happening here and why does the block with a bigger time disappear and a new block comes into picture ?
Does it mean that the block which disappeared was taken away by some other pool and this pool was not successful in mining it ?

Mining on Ubuntuposted in General Discussion
Hello people of the community!
I am trying to setup mining on Ubuntu and I have not come across any recent guides on how to do this.
The one i googled was updated in 2014.
Could anybody point me towards a setup guide for Ubuntu please?
Thanks! -
Can someone control the price ? How ?posted in General Discussion
Hello Burst community.
In specific to Burst coin - Can an individual control the price in the market and keep it down on purpose or make it go up on purpose ?
If yes, how can someone do that ? Since buying and selling is two way. -

What happens when all the burstcoins are mined ?posted in General Discussion
Hello people of the community.
Hope everyones doing good, specially after the spike in trade volume yesterday across exchanges.
I was just wondering, what will happen once the remaining 29% of the Burstcoins are mined ? The HDDs would still have to run to support the network, but after the coins are all mined, and people decide to stop the HDD mining so they can use the HDDs for other purposes, what would happen to the coin?I don't know if this has been discussed or mentioned in the documentation anywhere, but google did'nt want to give me any answer on this.
