Not getting any coin after 12 hours of pool mining
-
Hello,
I seem to be mining on ninja but I have not gotten any coin yet. I have been mining for 12 hours with a 500GB drive.
You guys think I should wait longer or please advise what to check.
Cheers,

Keep on mining. You'll get your first payout sooner or later. Do you find your name in the lower right table? Than everything's alright. It can take a day.
For smaller miners pool.burst-team.us is better. In the long run it will be the same but you get faster results in the short run with pool.burst-team.us ! Don't forget to change your reward assignment if you change pools.
-
Ok Just changed over to to pool.burst-team.us I also updated my reward assignment. I can copy the results after the reward assignment text if you like just to verify.
Not sure what you mean about lower right corner but here is a screenshot.
Ill keep on mining!
-
I mean the lower right corner of http://pool.burst-team.us , hehe ;)
-
Now im getting another error:
this is what I am doing :
-
@myminerep You have to wait 4 blocks until your pool change (reward assignment) gets accepted. Just wait around 16 minutes.
Nice video btw. We could use more video that explain the routines...
-
ahhh ok Understood!
Id be happy to do some more it was fairly easy to do, id be happy to contribute :)
I also have a 6TB drive on the way. Plugging that guy in my Eth miner.
If burst works out for me I will invest in more storage.

@snowmanz which pool? and post size of your plots. need more info
at screen: you mining, but not finding any deadline in every block.
-
@Blago I am using pool.burst-team.us. Trying out with my spare 80gb harddisk
-
@snowmanz
80Gb - very little for pool.burst-team.us, see https://forums.burst-team.us/topic/738/pool-recommendations
-
@snowmanz That's kind of low space for the mining, I have 3TB and even like that I get 1 out of like 5 blocks. The lower your drive space, the harder to get any burst.
-
😂 I see.. What is the rig u guys using and how much can you all get a day?

With this calculator you can play around with the number "Total Plot Size" and find an answer to your question.
