Newbie at Burst,having problems with write plot. [32 Bit]

@jcstander Your CPU is running because the wallet is downloading the blockchain in the background. This won't last forever... maybe 2 days maximum. You can close the client during plotting - but not the plotting window.
Which version of the Client do you use?
d:\Burst> means you are not plotting. There was a small bug in the code I fixed in the newest version.
-
Testing it out on 32 bit, first got the message, "32 bit, will be slower. Nevermind. " and then the following:
-
Seems like I'm plotting, quick question: Why is it plotting 500000000 and beyond and how do I know when it is finished? (plotsize/256kb)?
-
@BurgerBaron Thanks for the Screenshot. I will fix that problem soonish.
-
@daWallet Thanks! In the last screenshot it is all ok right?
-
@BurgerBaron Yes, what happend? Why does it work now?
-
Don't know, could be windows updates or a java update (which i didn't actually see), but it kinda surprised me 2
(very old pc ^^)

Hallo family i am stuck when i load it tells me that it is loading blockchain for a long time and all wallets are down can you guys help me
-
You can use the online wallet: https://wallet.burst-team.us:8128/index.html.
If you are downloading the blockchain from the first block you might need to wait a full day. I don't know why, but the db.burst-team.us is going to the web.burst-team.us. You might need to ask @haitch about that one.
Edit: Next time, create your own thread and make sure to keep the thread on-topic.

Hi again,my problem was that my Java was not updated.I updated it and now my 32 bit system,with 3 Gig Ram is plotting my external 900GB drive now.It's been about 24 hours plotting now,how long will it still take?It started in the black screen saying:Generating from nonce 4000000000, 24 hours ago.Today it is at :Generating from nonce 400659457,Writing from nonce 400659457 .Where will this Generating at nonce stop, which numbers?Please can you give me an idea,I can't really work on the computer now it is very slow?
-
@jcstander
What command did you use to generate the plot?
Edit: and what plotter do you use?
-
@FrilledShark I used the Burst Client for Win v 0.3.3.1 Wallet and I clicked on Write Plots that's how I'm plotting now.I don't know where to check the command or plotter.
-
@jcstander
It should stop at around 4003686400 nonces. Can you post an image of the terminal (black screen)?
-
@FrilledShark
The Win Client uses the original java plotter in 32 Bit mode.@jcstander : You can go to task manager and lower the priority of the task. Then you can work on your computer again...

It should stop at around 403686400. It means it is halfway now.
Edit: Don't worry about the command, you are using the win client and that makes sure everything about the command is probably ok.

@FrilledShark Thanks for the support!I worked out now for every hour I go through 10Gigs of plotting.I right click my external drive and go to properties,and can see how my free space is used up by plotting.It is almost exactly 10 Gigs a hour,so there is another 23 hours to go for me. In total for my 900 GB external drive it will take 3days/72 hours.Can't wait to mine ,and make some money!

@jcstander
You can actually begin mining already:
