BURSTize - Ad revenue based asset from ads on forums.burst-team.us & burstcoin.biz
-
@daWallet Thank you for the Update. Iam extremely dissapointed with this assets.
When the asset was first IPO at 100 Burst and higher the only reason I invested heavily was because @crowetic endorse it. Figure it would be a solid endorsement from a founding member of the burst community. Guess that does not count for much. Based on what you said I would prefer to take up Crowetic compensation and try to salvage value from a business point of view. Already lost 90% of the value. Maybe change the objective of the asset to bring in revenue. Or merge the asset with another.
-
@Bitnet88 Hi, I can feel you and nobody is happy with the underperformance of this Asset up to date. Reasons about it are discussed above https://forums.burst-team.us/post/50900 . But I can tell you that traffic is still rising significantly every month even with the week downtime we had. Numbers look strong and it will take some more time until you will see these good numbers also in the Dividends.
I'm not going to change the business model for this asset, merge it or swap it for another just because of external factors that are not in favor of us these months.
The low price at the moment is due to the panic sell after my "immediate notice to investors". This should be discussed at the moment.

News and numbers:
Three days ago we tried out a-ads.com on burstcoin.biz and forums.burst-team.us . The advertisement code couldn't be recognized on the nodebb forums but on burstcoin.biz. See full statistics here: https://a-ads.com/ad_units/466915 . Burstcoin.biz is still uncategorized and therefore getting low rates. I hope this will change soon and then we will see how it performs. (Edit: We are now categorized for "Bitcoin") I still prefer to have Burst related ads. A-ads count their impressions as global impressions for their whole network. This means that anyone who has seen an ad from a-ads the same day on an completely other page won't be counted.
Also I got the statistics from nodebb Admin area from March for you. Unique visitors are the ones with a distinct IP but I don't know in which time frame. The forum about the nodebb software is here: https://community.nodebb.org
Maybe you have seen @chrispop advertised his Asset "BurstOcean" for two weeks on burstcoin.biz and this forum some time ago and he got these numbers:
https://goo.gl/#analytics/goo.gl/yWgdmA/all_time if someone is interested to advertise here, contact us.
And a big thank you for everybody in the community making promotional efforts for the coin. This helps every Burst related website gaining traffic and supports this asset.
-
@daWallet I am guessing you seen Adam's video.
-
Today is tuesday and I got news for you:
After one week of advertising on burstcoin.biz with a-ads network we got these stats: https://a-ads.com/ad_units/466915/stats
Burstcoin.biz 0.00366035 Ƀ ~ 2730 Burstcoins
and Mellowads Network on the forums, which has only run for 2 full days yet: https://mellowads.com/networkspace/5690D16404AF
forums.burst-team.us 0.00054873 Ƀ ~ 410 Burstcoins
In conclusion the a-ads on burstcoin.biz are doing better every day (blue line on earnings chart) due to better campaigns. MellowAds on the forums is disappointing at the moment, but it should run a week more to see if numbers improve over time.
The best deal for us and advertisers on the forums are certainly Burst related projects like Assets, Pools or similar. Don't hesitate to contact us. (e.g. see these stats: https://goo.gl/#analytics/goo.gl/yWgdmA/all_time , which were in a time with lower overall traffic)
As we are still testing and looking for the best ad networks at the moment it makes sense to switch to a monthly or bi-monthly payment again. We got rejected from bitmedia.io and we don't have an invitation code for coinad.com.
When there is enough interest, we'll start the auction again.
-
my a-ads is not recognized a lot of the time it drive me nuts... what did you find out was the reason?
-
@falconCoin The nodebb forum code has pretty much the worst framework for ads. Burstcoin.biz is being recognized without problem.
We just reached the withdrawal threshold for burstcoin.biz a-ads banner:
Last withdrawal: 0.01001548 Ƀ (2017-04-08 14:53:08 UTC, see https://a-ads.com/ad_units/466915This is 7887 Burst with the rate of 127 Sathoshi.
Burstcoin.biz with a-ads doing better every day: https://a-ads.com/ad_units/466915/stats

Thanks for the divs.

Less page views in April (probably because of ddos protection) but more unique visitors.
The ad space on the right side of the forums is unused at the moment. If you are interested, contact me.

This time a little late, because I was out of town for 2 days and the threshold for A-Ads payout got reached this morning.

Here some stats from campaigns:
https://a-ads.com/ad_units/466915/stats (In the week without earnings we had direct advertisements from users of this forum. )
https://goo.gl/#analytics/goo.gl/ozMtsk/all_time
https://goo.gl/#analytics/goo.gl/LRd3d1/all_timeWe have a huge influx of new users and visitors since we've reached new all time highs in price and volume.
I heard the Burst Lottery with Automated Transactions is looking for some ad space ( @Lexicon) as new and old Asset Issuers are welcome to contact us. We always prefer to advertise Burst-related services over generic ad networks. This circulates and generates value in the Burst economy directly.
If the demand is high enough someday we will open the auction again.
Also I wanted to ask investors / holders if a monthly or a bi-weekly payout is preferred.

@daWallet Just ran across your update, don't know why I missed it.
Monthly or bi-weekly? Can you even do bi-weekly? Monthly is just fine for me.
What is in the works for new advertising revenue?
I also believe I need to publicly speak up about the ads that show on the bottom of the forum pages for mellow ads. A huge portion of the ads shown are for ponzi schemes. I don't believe this sort of thing should be promoted on this site. The most vulnerable are new users to cryptocurrency. They are supposed to be coming here to learn, and join the community; not scammed out of their money.

@ryanw We will soon replace mellowads with something of better quality and revenue. A new exchange approached us with their interest to advertise here.
I'm afk and out of town but haitch can disable the banner at the bottom. Soon we will negotiate the terms with the interested coin exchange.

Thank you for the update, much appreciated.

@daWallet
Monthly.
