No Deadline

  • @gpedro Im positive, this is what im doing, I paste this BURST-7Z2V-J9CF-NCW9-HWFRY in the bottom text field and the pass phrase for my wallet in the second to the bottom, and it is a different error every time. Can all the files be deleted for the miner and wallet without disrupting the plots on my hard drive? i would like to start over but am not sure about the procedure to uninstall. today I see the blockchain is downloading again, this may just be the update but it has been hours and still no progress.

  • @2late4asic Yts you can delete the miner and the wallet without affecting the plots. just copy paste your passphreses because the passphrases file will be lost.
Regardeless to the blockchain it's a lot faster if you download manually.
Regardeless to that error can you copy/paste or PrintScreen it? When you hit Reward Assigment should appear a code line (copy/paste it here)
Without information anyone could guess what's the error...

  • @gpedro I have downloaded the blockchain file and successfully installed it, 2 days ago, . another problem that the wallet gives me is when it gives me the drop down to choose what local wallet i want to open, my wallet name isnt there, instead its a test wallet in the first and only position, and when i log in its not my stats, it looks like someone's wallet, but not mine. I have to put my pass phrase in manually or i dont get in.

  • @2late4asic You are running the Wallet AIO v.0.2.7 right(see in the about, not in the windows bar)? If so you should have the Wallet Version 0.2.6 since the new one is giving you so much trouble...
That other wallet that is there you should'nt concern is the test wallet so you are not in someone else wallet.
And maybe your passphrase didn't appears because when you reinstalled the new version it overlap the passphrases folder

  • @gpedro 0_1468874992948_Screenshot (35).png Im guessing the name mismatch error is because im plotting a new drive, but as you can see i get the same recipient error, and if you look at transactions i have tried changing recipient several times in the past few days. as far as what files were over written I wouldnt know, im not a dev and without a clear and easy to use UI i feel like im guessing most of the time. This cant be unfixable, I like the direction the dev team is going and would like to be part of this coin so if I could ask, maybe you could dumb down the solution so this noob can get back into this. thanks for all your help.

    @2late4asic
You are mining for 2 different accounts. 7803.... and 10710.....

You are probably changing reward assignment for 7803.... all the time.

What you need to do is login to your 10710..... Account and change your reward assignment there for this Account to the right pool. Now it is pointing to the MiningHere BurstPool.

Mining a new coin like Burst is not an "one click solution". I guess Bitcoin mining was not simple too in the beginning. There are step by step video how to use the Win Client. As you see you made it more complex by using 2 Accounts for plotting.

  • @daWallet 10710 is my online wallet, I only use my local, do i need to change online wallet when ever i change pools? or is there a work around?

  • @daWallet well i changed it in my online wallet and still same error....

  • @daWallet I did not know i was using 2 accounts, i would love to start over with one account, i just spent a piece of change on hdd and would like to simplify this mess lol.

@2late4asic The two accounts are caused by using a slightly different pass phrase - you left off a character, you copied some white space. One character different, and it's a completely different account.

  • @haitch Now how do i get rid of 1 of the accounts without disturbing the other, lol, i have to apologize, you must be getting tired of the noob questions... sorry but I want to work this coin, watching my s7's work is boring as hell, this coin has real community and I just want to be part of it is all.

@2late4asic - you need to work out which one is real and which is the wrong one. Log into http://wallet.burst-team.us with your known, good pass phrase. Then in the top left click on your address - then select Copy Numeric ID. Paste that into a notepad file - this is your numeric ID - any plots files that don't start with this number, need to be deleted and replotted.
