Connexion speed for mining
-
Hi,
I would like to know if the connexion speed can have an impact on the pool mining efficiency ?
I'm mining with 4TB since 1 month, never found any blocks...

@SuaTiger Not really.
You submit 2-3 nonces only which is still less than 1Mb since every nonce is 256Kb.
Just an average internet connection is more than enough.If you are solo mining it might take a little time to hit a block considering the increasing difficulty.

Just an average internet connection is more than eYou do NOT submit nonce (the block), you only submit the nonce number, accountID, and couple over values in a HTTP POST/GET. A nonce submission is in the neighborhood of 80 bytes. You can successfully mine on a traditional phone based modem, 9600 Baud.
