Mining on 2 machines can't plot 2nd machine on same acct?
-
basically you do not want to plot two "d:" drives.. change it to e, f, g or so on.
-
I am familiar with the overlap issue. I just closed the wallet and reopened it and logged back in using the online wallet. It still will not allow me to plot the drives on my second machine. Do I have to wait for the blockchain to be up to date? It is still downloading it
-
@Rorepme just do it manually, edit the xplotter batch file and it will save you time rather than waiting.basically it is the same
-
I don't know how to edit that, however if all I have to do is wait for the blockchain to download to mine on the same wallet on 2 different machines, i will wait.
-
@Rorepme ^_^ ok have the best of luck
-
So even though I have had some input on this issue, no one has given me a definitive answer. Can someone help me to clear this issue up?
-
@Rorepme You only need a copy of the Block-chain if you want to solo mine. It is not necessary for pool mining. Use the GPU plotter on your new PC its a way faster. There is a readme in the GPU plotter folder that explains it well.
-
I am trying to pool mine on multiple machines not solo.
-
@haitch So is there anyone that can tell me anything? This forum is so filled with helpful peeps i am surprised this can't be figured out.
-
@Rorepme Grab xplotter and modify the runthisasadmin.bat it for the second PC, specifying where you want to plot. the starting nonce, your account number etc.
Then run it
