Sorry meant 40tb

@Maverick Sky is the limit

Its possible. Im running 40 TB external drives and 2TB internal
An usb3 ports read speed is limited to somewhere around 300 mbs (not sure about exact value but around there)
Divided with 6 HDDs its around 50 mbs read speed. Thats 36 seconds per 8TB hdd and 17 seconds per 4TB

Hi @Maverick. Yeah, go for it! I've got 5 x 6TB 7200 rpm SATA III internals, 4 x 5TB USB 3.0 externals and 8 x 8TB USB 3.0 externals on one machine. It's an I7 with 16 GB ram and a GTX 1060 GPU. I run JMiner (a GPU miner) and even with 12 USB drives on one controller it scans everything in 25 seconds.

@Maverick Maybe. It's going to depend on how the drives are connected - Sata? SAS? USB 3? USB 2?. What are you using to mine - CPU or GPU? If CPU, how many cores, If GPU what card?
