Networking mining with creepMiner
-
@Creepsky @Creepsky45 I'm attempting to mine with my (so far very small) network plots. There's 6 folders that I'm loading in parallel, but creepMiner seems to not be able to load the ~280gb before a new block is found:

is this a problem? once I have many more plots will this be mining during the loading process? I should be adding plots at 1.5-3 tb/day.

@DCSSquared a block (+/- 4 minutes) for only 280gb is very slow.
I see in the screenshot that you are also plotting simultaneous. This slows down the whole mining process a lot.

@Creepsky45 do you have any recommendations to make it work faster? I ordered a much stronger 2gbps down internet that should be here in a week or two. Would less plot folders help? Would larger plot files help? Currently they're 1gb, 4gb and 17gb.

@DCSSquared try it with the new internet connection and test it while not plotting.
Larger plotfiles / less plot folders are not necessary. Do you have optimized plot files?

@Creepsky45 Yes, they're optimized plot files. Right now my connection is 50ish mbps so 40x the connection speed should help significantly.
