Wallet is gone

I have a wallet adres but now that i wanna recover my wallet it gives me a new wallet adres plas help
-
@madscience24 Make sure you do not add a blank before or after the password
-
I got a totally different wallet id and i have send my funds to the outher adres
-
@madscience24 The address is based on encoding of your passphrase. Different address = different passphrase.
The passphrase you're entering now is somehow different to the one you used to create your address. Can be a leading or trailing space/newline, or even just copying/pasting it from notepad when it's word wrapped.
-
I made a picture of passphraise with my outher phone and i typ it like it is displayed and i get a new wallet id
-
@madscience24 I'm sorry, but they are different passphrases. I've had this discussion so many times.
-
Your account address is a hash of your passhrase
-
The hash function is immutable, and will always return the same address for a given passphrase.
-
To have a different address, the passphrase therefore needs to be different from the original.
-
Ergo, your passphrase for Wallet2 is different in some way from passphrase for Wallet1.
You could have a space or newline at the beginning/end of the phrase, if you're copy/pasting the address, and it's word wrapped in notepad or what ever - that makes it different.
The ONLY way to get a different address is to use a different passphrase.
