BURST Future?
-
What now? 200 BTC volume right now, slowly decreasing from 500 BTC volume, prices dropping, and I thought Bitsler was going to bring us up to a million sats ( im being sacrastic )
Why is BURST dropping all of a sudden?
-
@HiDevin It's a reflection of the BTC value I think. Burst is down 2.7% today, BTC is down 2.7% today - so basically we're holding steady against BTC, and following it's fluctuations.
-
@haitch why is btc taking a dump right now though? wasnt it at 2900?
-
@HiDevin there's a lot of uncertainty about how BTC is going to deal with transaction limits - there are conflicting proposals, and technical questions.
-
@haitch I thought segwit was going to roll in and be like man, im going to save btc transactions and make them not 2$ for a fee lol
-
people are scared of the upcoming forks they really need to come to a solution i vote BOTH sides of the coin .. bigger blocks + segwit but who am i ?.. its up to the miners i believe
-
-
@darindarin LOL
-
@gpedro i wonder who is willing to send their boobs through the blockchain?
-
@darindarin People don't want to see mine .......
-
@haitch i would have put that post in a new topic but said i didnt have the permissions.. i figured it was just a website glitch ... or am i above my daily post limits? haha

The person that owns that id is a perv but I like his style. :)

Something that could propel the use of BURST could be something like iDice. What do you think guys? Basically a mobile gambling platform like it. BURST was after all the first crypto to have smart contracts.
Ofcourse the devs have to work on it.

imo I think we have enough casino type platforms that use burst for gambling. We need something different that others haven't done yet.
-
I think pure for gambling, coins like Wagerr will come out much stronger.
Not sure anymore how Burst could burst.
We can all agree Bitsler was hyped a bit too much by us.
I always said I was going to short a coin if it went sub 200BTC/24h... but now I don't know.
The huge community this small altcoin has seems not to reflect in being a popular coin on the exchanges.
-
"Longterm" whatever that means to each Burst would have to offer something unique to be there to stay.
Gambling on some shitty Casino compared what the industry offers nowadays is a nice gimme, saying that being a Gambler/Poker Player/Trader myself for a couple of years but nothing to talk about.
There Needs to be a huge effort towards the Topics green coin, Asset Exchange and other benefits (in built crowdfund e.g which is a becoming a huge Topic or at least could be ) and others.
Thats devs work obviously. People These days are mining, investing in mining via AE and gambling. Some build assets trying to get out/Exchange the coin by buying Silver/BC or mining other coins. Theres much much more.
-
At the moment I agree being the only POC coin, being environmental is a strong point.
-
@scheven That said, being "enviromental" as such is worthless (while green Topics are getting more and more of a Topic worldwide of course, looking at the Change from Nuclear Power/Coal etc. to renewable ways of Energy, changing to electro powered cars etc.
Mining a coin with (much) less energy than say BC or ETH is nice no doubt - but to no use if there is no use of the coin in the "real" world.

Volume got boosted a lot last hours.
I'm wondering who suddenly decided to buy that much Burst coins.
