HighRoller Pool - The Pool for **BIG** Miners.
-
HighRoller is a community mining pool, with Solo "Like" payouts.
It's another Ninja pool - but setup quite differently from the others:
Pool Url: HighRoller.burst-team.us:8080
Reward Assignment: BURST-YBW4-A3D3-LVUF-F9WVJ
Mining Url: HighRoller.burst-team.us
Mining Port: 8080
Longest Deadline accepted: 60 Minutes
Payouts: 1,000 Burst or 1 Week.
Historic Blocks: Last 340
Current/Historic Split: 80/20
Pool Fee: 5%This is a Pool for Big Miners, or those that want to try their luck. It only accepts realistic deadlines, nothing over 60 Minutes - so will often not have any "pools best miner" as no one will find an acceptable block. It's probably not going to find a lot of blocks, but when it does, the miner that finds it is going to get a good payout. The Current Round share of the Block Reward is 80%, and given the tight deadlines, that's only going to be split amongst a few miners. The Historic Reward is 20% of the Block, with the last 340 Blocks determining your Historic Share. You'll be wanting to be submitting deadlines regulary, or your historic share will decline - though not as fast as if it was the regular 50 Blocks. As the pool should be providing high rewards, the payout has been increaded to 1,000 Burst or 1 week. Edit: Pool fee is set at 1%
Have fun.

lol good luck haitch!
-
@tross You wanted big miners to diversify, this gives them the option. Some big miners will want the extreme deadline for higher payouts, other big miners want higher deadlines for more frequent payouts. Let's see what happens ........
-
reminds me of a p2p pool

(makes whimpering noise) - walks away
-
@haitch Yes but in another way.
-
@haitch so we are competitor now! ehehe
But I noticed that on your pool there are ccminer miners displayed!
I'm sorry to lose pennywise :(

I'm sorry to lose pennywise :(because @haitch didn't clean the DB :P before starting the pool. and technically were all competitors when you maintain a pool since we all want to get the miners :}
-
@ccminer I'll put PennyWise 2 on the ccMiner pool for a while when it's built.
-
@haitch Far from certain about the 5%, just because you have called it High Roller does not mean that these Miners play like High Rollers :-) I would have thought there was a case for a low fee? We will see.......

@RichBC Yep, we'll see, as I said in the OP, this is not your average Ninja pool, and parameters can be tweaked if need be.
-
So solo mining is at least 5 percent more profitable. Depending how lucky you are?
Do i just set local in jminer settings instead? the 127.0.0.1 or whatever it is? Do i also have to have the wallet open at all timeS?
-
@ChuckNorris if your super lucky it could be 25% more profitable since your not share the other 20% with other users on the pool.
-
@manfromafar Any guides to setup solo mining?
With jminer
-
@ChuckNorris Another option might be to setup your own private local pool, did it with Lex's fork of the Uray pool code and it worked a treat and fairly easy to setup.
-
@iKnow0 Sounds great and all. But sounds like a lot of work. I'm very busy managing farms right now. I don't have time to do payouts and all of that jazz
-
@ChuckNorris you wont need to, only you will be mining at the pool.
-
@iKnow0 Ohh i see. I just took a look at pool setup. Still looks like a lot of work. I'd rather pay small fee to pool mine. Or solo. i just need to take a min to figure out solo setup.
