Out of burst cant mine

  • Hello All..

New here.. Can I get some burst so I can start mining. I tried doing burst-team.us for my 2TB test. I think I made a mistake confirming to pool.burst-team.us and saw the 4 block error and pick pool.ccminer.net. It's been running for a day with confirms but I don't see anything coming into my address. Does this take this long? I'm also running another one on my home computer for a test 1TB drive but that one I set it to pool.burst-team.us and I dont see any confirmation; just New Block.. and sometimes I get Winner: Get info failed.

    BURST-FD2P-WP6F-NFFL-A2PLL

    Thanks

  • Sent some Burst your way. Check the historical shares portion of the pool to see if you have accumulated any Burst. Pools have different payout schedules so you will need to check with the pool owner to see what the schedule is.

Also, a confirm on the miner does not mean the miner won a block. The middle column of the ninja pool's interface will look like this if you won a block,
    0_1497450785919_burstcoin win a block.PNG

With a 1TB your chances of winning a block are low. Yet being part of the pool you will receive some burst from other miners winning blocks.

  • Thank you very much

  • @socalguy

sorry another question.. If I run the miner without setting the reward assignment will I still get paid or I need to set the assignment first before I start mining for that specific pool and then start my miner? Do that for all the computers I wanted to run? And also can I use the one address that I have for different rigs?

  • @rmbuan What You assign is the address and not the computer You use to mine. So only 1 time
    No assignment = no mining.
Yes You can use as many computers You want. Just do not overlap the plots.

  • @rmbuan

You will need to set the reward assignment first, wait for four blocks, then turn on your miner. You will need to do this for each miner on each computer.

I don't think you can use the same burst id to mine on all computers ( @haitch ). When I started, I used a separate id for each computer.

Please keep in mind the burst id you use to plot, needs to be the same id you use to assign your miner to the pool.

Your miner needs to be fully in sync and actively sending deadlines with the pool in order to receive Burst.

@socalguy You can use the same ID on multiple computers, but you either have to a) use unique drive letters on each computer: All the OS Drives can be C:, but if you have one mining disk in each PC, they have: to be D:, E:, F:, etc .... or b) Use advanced mode and select your starting nonces so the plots don't over lap.

  • Thank you all for the input.. I just got my first pay! I'm looking at getting my other computer running now with more disks.
