Need a little help with a plotting/mining issue.
-
Ok, so I've plotted 500g on a new drive. It is a Buffalo 3tb drive. It is the seventh drive, I have begun to plot. And add to my mining op.
But when I open the mining tab in the burst wallet. The drive does not show up in the list of drives. And when I start the miner, it also does not show up in the mining window with my other six drives to turn in deadlines.
Why is this? And how do I get it to work? I've plotted it the same way I've plotted all my other drives. So I don't understand why it isn't working?
Thank You ahead of time, for any help on this issue.

The wallet expects the plots to be in folders burst\plots off hte root of the drive
-
@manfromafar It has a burst and a plots folder on the drive, with the plots that where created inside the plot folder? The plotter made them for me automatic.
-
What do you mean "off hte root of the drive"?
-
@Mike <drive letter>:\burst\plots
-
@haitch I'm confused? That is how it reads in the tile bar at top of the drive folder. When I open the drive and folders. It says
This PC > (drive letter) > Burst > Plots. Do I need to put that into the wallet some how? It has done all my other drives automatic?
-
@Mike What drive letter are you using? If the plot is in \burst\plots then it should be automatically detected.
-
@haitch I have the drive set to (B:)
-
@haitch It wasn't partitioned when I got it. And I just picked that one because it is a buffalo external drive?
-
@Mike A and B are traditionally floppy drive letters, and ignored by the miner. Change the drive letter to something above C and the drive will be detected.
-
@haitch O, your right. Thank you man! That makes since as too why it's not working. I'll do that now.
