Mining on two pools with the same plots?
-
Hello,
I'm still beginner so sorry if the questions are a little bit confused or if they are making no sense at all.
First, we have to make this reward assignment stuff with a burst pool.
When I want to switch back to a pool that I already used, is it necessary to click on the "Change Reward Assignment" button again and pay again 1 burstcoin to switch back? Or is it as simple to switch between the pool just with the drop down and a miner restart?Second, given that it is possible to register or "assign" to more than one mining pool, which I currently don't know, is it then possible to run the mining sw two times with different pools but with the same plot files and burst address? So if sometimes pool A wins and sometimes pool B my chance would be bigger if I commit my block findings to both pools?
And third, given it is technically possible to run two miners from different folders and different pools but with the same plot files... Does it really make sense to do so? First thing I can imagine is that the disks are slowed down in both miners so my chance of winning something is lower but on the other hand I "play" on two pools...
Thank you all...

@fpdragon The Reward Assignment locks you into that Pool, you can only be Assigned to a single Pool at anyone time, and need to Reassign / pay your Burst and wait for 4 Cofirmations every time you change.

Ok, thank you for the info.
So the other questions are obsolete.
But one other thing.
When I switch from pool A to pool B and still have open payouts on pool A, do these payments land on my wallet or are they lost because of the assignment switch to Pool B?thanks

They will eventually find there way to your wallet, typically within a day or two.
