Overlapping plots??
-
@cretin Yes, sorry Superfriend, you will need to re-plot one of them. They both start at 600000001, and the stagger puts it over, that's why.
-
I Cry, thank you
-
ughhh i just had the same happen
can i use the plotted HDDS on 2 different PC to mine tho?
-
@falconCoin If they're overlapped, they're overlapped - one of the files needs to be replotted with non-overlapping nonces.
-
@haitch how do you NOT overlap them ?
and if i am mining on more one PC what is the best way then as well?
-
@falconCoin Are you using the AIO, or manually plotting ?
-
@falconCoin Best way on two machines with the same Account ID with the Win Client (AIO) is to use different Drive Letters from the beginning. Computer 1 uses D, E, F and Computer 2 can use X, Y, Z .
-
i just used the plotter in the wallet
in the aio wallet i did not see a option to change letters on drives
-
@falconCoin you need to use Disk Manager to change the drive letter, or use expert mode and select a Starting Nonce > Last Starting Nonce + Number of Nonces.
-
@haitch thanks yeah i already did that and replotting now thanks!
i thought if they were mining on 2 different machines it would not matter
-
@falconCoin The AIO uses the drive letter as the basis for the starting nonce - so multiple machines all plotting to drive D for example, will all use the same starting nonce for the plots. Only by having drive letter unique amongst the machines will nonces be unique.
