Burst account reward recipient doesn't match pool's account
-
I'm having a similar issue but my pool is the Burst Team one. I posted on thread https://forums.burst-team.us/topic/94/your-burst-account-s-reward-recipient-does-not-match-pool-s-account/16.
Something is up. If you have changed your reward to the account listed in the error and not seeing your deadlines, i'm guessing that the issue is something else.
In my error I can see that the account it wants me to set my rewards to is NOT my pool's account so I have not bothered to change it.
I would suggest changing your reward address back to your pools address and sit tight until this is resolved. It feels like changing it to the suggested one is sending your rewards to someone else. I can't be sure if it's a general issue on the network or an attack. So far I haven't heard anything from an administrator or someone who knows what they are doing.

All of the pools seem to use the same software, maybe there is something wrong with it. My problem is, that I spent my Burst already, trying to get it to work, so I will have to wait until my BTC finally arrive and I will change it afterwards. In this time, somone else can have fun with my dl of a couple days :D
-
It looks like the IP addresses for the pools are the same. I changed my reward address to the pool.burstcoin.biz and my DLs are being accepted. However, the page to check the shares is timing out and sometimes it loads but without data.

@Shoiji Sent you some Burst so you can Switch pools if you want to.
Looks that all the Ninja SW pools are suffering a Little bit and having Problems, users complaining. Try to Switch to a pool using different SW from lex like his own pool, btfg or the .sk pool (there are others out there but I dont know them all and so far havent found a list /Google doc which pool is using which Software).

@Marc Thank you :D My bought coins arrived one block after yours. I got the email, about the withdraw and then got 20 Burst. First was a little bit worried... Do you want the Burst back? I will cover the fee :D
Okey, I will try a lex pool then. Does someone have a suggestion for 2.5tb?
-
@Shoiji No coins back, thx.
One day send it to another guy today still unknown who might be facing the same Troubles like you did today and will be glad about your help.
For a pool Suggestion you might try out the btfg pool. They have different payout structure to almost any other pool out there which is , .. well different, but not a bad deal for smaller miners with 2-10 TB. Have a read yourself how and why, its proberly explained there:
https://steemit.com/burstcoin/@valareos/introduction-to-the-btfg-burstcoin-pool
they are lex Software, you can see here:

@Marc Thanks again :D I will do so and this pool seems interesting. I will try it!

@Shoiji
I have the same issue today with burst-team.us using windows. I tried to move to this pool since the burst pool.burst.eu was not working. If I want to use btfg, is this the burst.btfg.space one on Windows?
-
@dbh
I'm using Blaog's Miner and there I used burst.btfg.space and as far as I know, it should be the same if you use the windows AIO. I'm pretty new to Burst :D
-
@dbh Yes, its the same.
Assuming you downloaded the All in One Wallet, right down there is the button "start mining" which will start the Blagos Miner Software. There also you can Switch pools from the Dropdown Menu with some pools already there.
You have to put in the pools adress and your pw and wait for some lets say 1/2 hour on average untill the changes took place - then you are mining on another pool - whichever you have decided.
-
There have been some DNS changes made, depending on the propagation delay to the DNS servers you're using, you may this issue for a period - it will all resolve itself soon.
-
@haitch I'm still having this issue as of 9.30 this morning BST. The IP address shown in the miner takes me to burst-team.us rather than burstcoin.party.
-
@ccrmcneil the IP doesn't matter, the proxy works based on the dns name in the packet header.

To update the thread, I ended up changing to another pool which worked fine.
