it worked i found a bad hd with it.....pitty it was a 3tb one.

I'm currently troubleshooting this issue with my drives as well. I discovered that the error is only happens when my powered external drives are plugged into my powered USB hub. I think somehow they are blowing the self-healing fuse on the hub. Not sure how but they work when plugged directly into my PC. Next I'll test with a non-powered hub.

@nightwolf I've lost 3 8TB drives so far ..... That error is normally an indication a drive is on the verge of total failure.
