  • Had to remove two trims. douchebags that installed the new windows in my apt didn't measure correctly.
Each side, to pull the window in to pull the screen out.

Last year, picked up this frigidaire FRA082AT7 used for 60 bucks usd and it's a beast.

it's cooling this main living room, fan in hallway to push to the end of hallway, another fan in end hallway pushing in bedroom. It reached like 103f in the living room yesterday as the living room is on the west side, the air heat+the sun. It was damn hot. and plus I am on the second floor.
815w, my electric bill will go from 35usd to 70 :(

That's what it was last year a month.

  • @Hitti2 Remember, it's easier to keep a space cool than to cool it down. Don't wait until it gets too hot to try to cool it down, keep it where you want it before that happens.
Blocking the sunlight from any open windows helps.

You're on the 2nd floor, nothing to help with that...I had a 2nd floor apartment once that got into 120+ during a heatwave :( The corks on my sealed wine bottles starting protruding.

I installed the unit when It was dark out last night. Let it run full blast over night. My feet are freezing "wearing sandals".

It's suppose to reach 91f today, I'm leaving it on full blast till that 91f hits few hours after then I'll kick her down till it's comfortable and not freezing.

atm its 71f 73% humidity. This unit does 350 sq. ft., it's actually working for my entire apt which is huge. But like I said I have two fans on low circulating the air in hallway to the bedroom.

  • @Hitti2 Nice, I hope your system gets you through the summer!

  • Also my filters were clogged so I vacuumed them. Pc staying nice n cool.
