Mining multiple rigs, multiple OS

Hi

I saw a topic about mining on multiple PC's but they were both Windows. However I have somewhere a Linux machine running and a Windows machine.

Now I was wondering if that would work to proxy everything from Windows to the Linux server and Linux would send it to the pool?

I found this topic, but I think the miner on Linux won't be able to understand something from Windows or doesn't that matter at all?

The miners I am using:

• Windows: Blago
• Linux: https://github.com/uraymeiviar/burst-miner/releases

@stress You can possibly proxy the Linux miner through Blago's miner, but I don't think the other way around will work.

@haitch I thought that as well, because Linux does not have a proxy.
I may create another wallet for the Linux one, because I do not want penalties from the pool.

If you know a Linux miner with proxy possibilities, please let me know ;-).

I don't think there are any remaining pools that penalize for multiple DL's.

If you want to have everything in one place I would suggest creepminer (https://github.com/Creepsky/creepMiner)
If works on windows and linux and has proxy settings that allow you to manage everything from one computer. Now unlike blagos I do not know if it will submit the nonces from the same PC so your stats show correctly.

But using blago on windows and creepminer on linux you wont run into any issues.

Your stats would just be messed up on the pool the payouts would be the same tho
