Not getting paid enough
-
Hello.
I am trying to mine with 2.7TB, but every pool I join only gives me something like 2-10 burst a day, the calculator online says I should be getting 57 a day.
What is going on? I used that google doc to find a pool, but this is ridiculous.
-
@BigBear When you hit a block you get instantly ~1000 Burst, so in the long term you get ~57 Burst a day.
-
@Nisc3d But I am not getting anywhere near. When I was on m.burst4all.com pool I was recieving 15-20 BURST on average from 0.7TB, now I added 2TB and moved to pool.burstcoin.sk and the payout is so low. Which pool do I go to and what should my settings be?
-
@BigBear http://burstpool.ddns.net/ and make sure you use the latest blago miner, that resends not confirmed deadlines.
-
@BigBear im mining with 10 tb witout blocks i get arround 100 burst a day 😉

That is because m.burst4all.com is a special pool that pays out 1k in coins daily to miners regardless of wins to help small miners

Just like Nisc3d said. The calculator is the AVERAGE you should be getting. It will even out over a long enough time span. The same as if you were mining solo you´d on average hit a block every ~40th day meaning you´d get.. you guessed it, 57 a day if you divided the days with the burst you got.
-
@Casse So what should I be expecting my pay out to be then?
-
Anything. Over the long run it will even out. Expect what the calculator say +- a few hundred daily
-
@BigBear you can also go for assets of your mining pool to increase your shares (income),
f.e. 5255893438014874161 from ccminer pool https://asset.ccminer.net/
and a very usefull help is the network overview
(check your possible deadlines, than choose most successful pool)
http://burstcoin.cc/pool --> 10 tb tross or lexi pool

@mrceebo-0 Thanks, but no thanks. I have had a poor experience with assets and I am not interested in wasting/losing my money on them.

This coin is so bad I don't understand how people manage to mine this thing, it is ridiculously inconsistent. I've been jumping pools and everything and still I am getting paid nowhere near what the calculator says.

BigBear i am new like you but i can answer your question somehow. You need to first find a stable and working pool. Second read careful how they are making payments and the fee and everything. And do not expect instant burst it takes some time and luck. If the pool that you are mining does not wins blocks. Blocks means that one of the miner in your pool got it it does not pay.
It`s strange that you are getting so little for that space. I mined on m.burst4all pool but you cant join it because it has a limit of 1TB max. And got for 0.5TB a lot more than you. On an average of 5 days of mining i was getting there around 6 and some change. I moved from that pool and got a lot less around 5. So look careful and watch if the pools info shows it how many miners and with how much size they mine.
Please do not take this for granted or follow 100% my say because i am a new one to but with more luck i guess?
