I did a thing on Facebook
-
Figured the platform is one of the biggest social media sites in the world and there would be a big Burst population.. I spend a lot of time on Facebook for business and personal so said lets take a look.. I didnt find much besides a few small rooms..and lots for other cryptos and bitcoin.. SO I took it among myself to start a page. More for everyone not a pool or country page. That was a month ago.. I added 3 of my friends.. Today almost 80 people and I am accepting more people everyday.. I havent told anyone here or on another forum and now have a second admin he is an awesome guy and always happy to help. I am also helping and answering questions ALOT so I think its a good thing..
Also, I am a big believer in ask for forgiveness not permission so if this post is bad I am sorry and will not be hurt if it gets removed. I am only doing this for the coin and for this forum. I am also relatively new to crypto( ~ 1.5 years) and I know anonymity and crypto go hand in hand but this is to help pull more attention to Burst from the general public and to help new folks.
I am not trying to pull anyone from using this site. This is my favorite website in the last 4 months and I have it listed in the description as the place to be and ask questions. I figured that is a good thing.
feel free to join if it gets any bigger will need more help haha

-

turns out i was already a member of yours! :D tis a fine group indeed!
-
I remember looking a week or so for a group on facebook, that's not a bad idea at all, especially since if there isn't an app for something (like this forum) most people will never find it or see it.
-
Good luck with your Facebook page. :)
-
i don't like people giving out burst addresses on facebook. Just saying.
-
@ZapbuzZ understandably so but there are many crypto groups and its okay to not give out your address ever.
-
@jhip626 new people joining every day. still small but growing :)
-
@ZapbuzZ No one can do anything with your address other than send you coins .......
-
ok @haitch
-
@ZapbuzZ how come?
oops see there response lol
its like ppl putting a finger over their license plate when selling, pretty sure you cant do that driving around lol... least not in small towns it it is silly
-
Well, I just find it creepy on one of the most stalked social media networks. Nothing malicious. I'm a member of that group now :D
-
@ZapbuzZ let them send ya some Burst like haitch says lol
another example i find funny i call in to pay the light bill and i get asked everything but my shoe size, im like hell if someone wants to call in and pay my bill let them! lol
