Plotting multiple plots on one drive

  • Hey guys, thanks for helping me last time. And I need some instruction again.
My plan was to plot about 4000000 nounces (~ 1TB) on a 8TB HDD.
So this is how I'm planning to do: Plot from sn n 4000000
And my question is, the next time I want to plot on the same drive.

    1. Should i start at sn x04000001 or sn x04000000?
    2. Will x04000000 overlap with the old one and is overlapping bad?
    3. The x (in x00000001), does it has any rules? or can I just choose whatever number as long as the x from x00000001 to x99999999 is the same?( To my knowledge, I think that if i have multiple drives, i shouldn't have replica x value)

Thanks for reading, love the community!

You don't want your nonces to overlap. So if you start at 0 then plots 20 nonces your next plot would start at 21. The nonce the second drive has plotted its 20 nonces you would start at 42. its basically Startnonce + plottednonces + 1 = new start nonce
    So on and so forth.

  • @manfromafar Thanks so much man (hope i get your gender right). Much appreciated
