PLOTING NEXT DRIVE

  • thanks @luxe it did work automatically with the -n, however.

@ZapbuzZ ah ok sry, than it was just obsolete :-)

  • so can be this?

    1TB drive
    DriveA, start 0 end 3 700 000
    DriveB, start 3 700 001 end 7 400 001
    DriveC, start 7 400 002 end 11 100 002
    DriveD, start 11 100 003 end 14 800 003

    XPlotter_sse.exe -id xxxxxxxxxxxxx -sn 0 -n 3700000 -t 4 -path O:\plots -mem 24G
    XPlotter_sse.exe -id xxxxxxxxxxxxx -sn 3700001 -n 3700000 -t 4 -path O:\plots -mem 24G
    XPlotter_sse.exe -id xxxxxxxxxxxxx -sn 7400002 -n 3700000 -t 4 -path O:\plots -mem 24G
    XPlotter_sse.exe -id xxxxxxxxxxxxx -sn 11100003 -n 3700000 -t 4 -path O:\plots -mem 24G

@pipop said in PLOTING NEXT DRIVE:

    XPlotter_sse.exe -id xxxxxxxxxxxxx -sn 0 -n 3700000 -t 4 -path O:\plots -mem 24G
    XPlotter_sse.exe -id xxxxxxxxxxxxx -sn 3700001 -n 3700000 -t 4 -path O:\plots -mem 24G
    XPlotter_sse.exe -id xxxxxxxxxxxxx -sn 7400002 -n 3700000 -t 4 -path O:\plots -mem 24G
    XPlotter_sse.exe -id xxxxxxxxxxxxx -sn 11100003 -n 3700000 -t 4 -path O:\plots -mem 24G

Looks good, but if you start with 0 (first nonce) and you do 3700000 nonces, the last one is 3699999, so next drive can start with 3700000. After all, it does not matter you can also start next drive with 10000000 ... feel free to leave some nonce-numbers unused.

    yes, i had any free nonces: when drive has official 931GB=nonces 3 813 376 i set up 3 700 000.... its right?

what happen if plots has different sequences with this numbers?

  • admin

@pipop just define the startnonces, remove '-n xxxxx' xplotter will auto determ max possible nonces ... choose startnonces big enough to not overlap

  • can you show me how it will be look command line first 3 drives with 8TB from 1st drive where will be start from 0 for example? it will be best to understand how have to continue sequences

    driveA XPlotter_avx.exe -id WALLETNUMBER -sn 0 -t 16 -path O:\plots -mem 24G
    driveB ???
    driveC ???

    thx..appreciate it

  • admin

    @pipop Drive B SN = the last nonce in Drive A + 1, Drive C SN = Drive B SN + Drive B (number of nonces) + 1

So if Drive A is SN 0, number of nonces 1000, then drive B SN = 1000, if number of nonces = 2000, then Drive C will be SN (1000) + Number of Nonces (2000) -> SN = 3000

  • i dont know what xplotter setuped number of nonces....if?so where i can see what xplotter setup max nonces?

drive A will be start with this command Plotter_avx.exe -id WALLETNUMBER -sn 0 -t 16 -path O:\plots -mem 24G
    drive B Plotter_avx.exe -id WALLETNUMBER -sn 1000 -n 2000 -t 16 -path O:\plots -mem 24G
    drive C Plotter_avx.exe -id WALLETNUMBER -sn 2001 -n 2000 -t 16 -path O:\plots -mem 24G
    drive D Plotter_avx.exe -id WALLETNUMBER -sn 3002 -n 2000 -t 16 -path O:\plots -mem 24G
    .
    .
    .

@pipop To fill the whole drive leave the -n parameter blank. To see the number of nonces in the previous file, use File Explorer to look at the drive and the file - the format of the filename is <burst id>_<starting nonce>_<number of nonces>_<stagger>

  • drive A Plotter_avx.exe -id WALLETNUMBER -sn 0 -t 16 -path O:\plots -mem 24G
    drive B Plotter_avx.exe -id WALLETNUMBER -sn 1000 -t 16 -path O:\plots -mem 24G
    drive C Plotter_avx.exe -id WALLETNUMBER -sn 2001 -t 16 -path O:\plots -mem 24G
    drive D Plotter_avx.exe -id WALLETNUMBER -sn 3002 -t 16 -path O:\plots -mem 24G

its OK now? still dont understand, where i can found how big nonces xplotter used.....
