Burstcoin Local Wallet takes forever to load Desktop Record 1920x1080 video
-
Why?
-
It has to load and start the wallet. Less than a minute is normal and expected if you read the text on the loading page.
-
I can read lol.
The question is why?
-
@Hitti2 It has to start a local server of the burst java node, only after that you can access the localhost...
If you want to try to launch manually, you should have all the software in %AppData%/Roaming/BurstWallet ;D

wallet.jar?

@Hitti2 to run it you have to run a batch file in there, not the jar file but you should be in the right folder ;D

Because it doesn't start until you request it to start and it requires that much time to start. It doesn't autoload with the wallet because if someone were to use the online wallet it wouldn't be needed at all. It's trying to save your computer resources if it's not needed.
Maybe in the future you could set it to autostart when the computer boots, that way you wouldn't have to wait for it when you start the wallet later? But then it would be running all of the time and consuming resources even if it's not used.
It's working as intended, you just have to figure out what works best for you and adapt it.
It's along the lines of why does X program take X amount of time to start. Most programs hide their starting delay with splash screens and such, this one doesn't because it doesn't even try to start until you request it.
