Hello,
There is a supplier in Germany selling the HDD of a capacity of 4 TB for €300 including shipping cost by DHL.There is a community in Europe who believe in BURST and want to be part of it, they did ask me to make the pool and @haitch did help me with the setup of it.
-
@bcapool Are they telling people that the hard drives will go bad after three months? Are they also telling people that in order to be in the pool, they have to buy from them?
-
@socalguy that's not true, the pool is open to all the miners so there is no obligation. the supplier of the HDD offer a 5 years warranty to the clients.
-
@bcapool 300 euros for 4tb, god those people got ripped off holy shit I got 8tb for 170 euros lol
-
@HiDevin Where? in Europe??? The 300 euros for 4TB seems too much but 170 for 8TB perishes me very little, if you can tell me where the purchases
-
@Energy well in america i just converted the usd into euros i got https://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?item=N82E16822179033 which is 180$ don't know about euro though i just converted my money
-
@HiDevin I already seemed that here I find them at 250 euros more or less, so it's okay since if I buy them in the US I'll add the shipping and the customs taxes I get more expensive
-
Maybe some people want to buy a 4 TB drive with a 5 year warranty and personal instructions on how to mine Burst for whatever they are selling it for. I don't think it is up to this community to dictate what has value for anyone else. We are all free to make our own choices. Let's stop the nanny state mentality.
-
@rds But the issue here is not about the price, I'm with you as if asking for 500 euros is your problem and who you pay, the problem I think is that someone complained that the other discs only lasted 3 months to use them For burst, and if that is so it is a lie and if it is not so and it is a misunderstanding because it is clarified and it is already
-
As a native German speaker, hardly being able to express my thoughts properly in English language but still :-) following all the Topics about burst and stuff during the last. .. well, whatever, .. Id tell you to avoid this "offer" like the plague.
But well, €$fiat 1.350.- for a 4 TB HD still might look like an interesting offer for some of the braindeads out there.
What actually we are talking about ?

I hear you but most salesmen embellish the truth. If one hard drive ever failed after 3 months, there is the opening to say, "well my drive is so much more robust with a five year warranty. Company x, in fact only offers a 1 year warranty and I've heard they break down after 3 months mining burst".
Have you ever gone into any store and you're looking at product "anything", the salesman comes up to you and says, "wow great choice, That's what I have at my place, best buy in the store".
People have to do research if they don't want to be ripped off. And again, a ripoff to me may be a value to someone else.

@Marc See my initial post on this thread. We are trying to find out what is going on with the bcaworldteampool.com and if it is tied to a website that is being accused of giving out false information about mining for burstcoins.
I've asked the anon to come to this thread and post what he knows. So far, I don't think he has. Also, the info has been sent to haitch and dawallet for review.
I'm still waiting for concrete evidence that could make the accusations true. So far, all I have is what someone told me and an image.
oh and I just started watching Sherlock on Netflix. It's pretty good.
-
@HiDevin very bad then, please tell me who is your supplier i have to advise the people there.
what you think about the 5 years warranty?
-
@bcapool pretty good for 5 year warrenty though, imagine if a hdd did break, but i guess its good, for me I use newegg but idk about european countries.
-
@bcapool Lets do the math here: You're talking about 300€ for 4 tb with 5 Year warranty. You think thats a great deal? Really? Lets do the math here: You get in Germany right now 4 tb drives for 100€ with 3 Years warranty. So, lets think about it, you buy a 3 tb for 100 € and after 3 Years you just buy another Drive for 100€ (Probably even less by then) And you have a 4 tb drive that is within warranty for not only 5, for 6 Years.
But however maybe you get already ripped of by your supplier too ( I wouldn't feel bad for you) you still sell for 1250€ a Piece, and since you're such a great Company every additional harddisk is "only" 650€ what a steal?! Is it your (Multi level?) Referal System that makes it that expensive or what makes it worth that much. I mean you already had to get rid of your law non-disclosure Agreement as People refused to buy from you, or the People selling your products as affilates.
Also I might should tell at this Point, please stop to act like you created all that Software, your Clients were quite surprised that the Software wasn't actualy created by bca, thanks to @Lexicon , @daWallet and all the other Coders here who actualy coded it.
For those who are still interessted into buying from bca, that was the order page from that Webinar, Thanks to "Michael Spiess" from bca, for that Webinar full of false Facts (not even the current Price was matching this was already more then 100 off...)

So my offer to @bca is, refund them the every Cent over 300€ per HDD (Whats still a ripoff Price but whatever) Send them an Apologie letter where you tell them the truth about Burst, I can stop my Investigation and don't have to message them (thanks to the blockchain Technologie, I got their contacts) and then you can move on to another coin to do your scam. And if any of those People have questions about Burst, We (The entire Burst community), or I will take care of it free of charge, since Burst should be a good Thing for everyone!
Feel free to Reply to me in German if thats easier for you and I will translate it as English doesn't seem to be your native language.
Regards
Menaxerius

@Menaxerius first of all, i did not read all of your post because the informations there are not true.
No one is selling a HDD for a €1,250 do you think that the people are idiots to do that? even a kid know the price of HDD.
I'm not the one selling or buying HDD, there is a supplier who is selling the HDD for €300 and that's all i know.
As i'm a good programmer, the people of that team asked me to make them a mining pool then i found that i can't do it alone so i asked for help.
People will buy the HDD for that price and mine in my pool or in another one.
if you speak German and want to know more, i will put you in contact with the people that can help you about your questions.
-
@bcapool sure, I do. Feel free to.
To the informations, I have the same on Video from the Webinar and contact to People who even payed for it... I haven't said you're the one, but if it isn't you then it's the Company / Group you work for or People from it.

I was slightly missinformed regarding bca, their offer is for 1250$ not Euro, I don't think this changes anything, I will post the proof from their Website here later tonight. Everyone is free to take this as he wants.
