To save plotting time can I copy a plot to another drive
-
I recently bought 2 5TB external drives and am in the process of plotting my 1st 5TB drive. It is taking some time to plot so am wondering if I have to create a fresh plot on the 2nd drive or can I simply copy 1st drive's plot to the 2nd drive to save time.

@ClariceCrow sorry no, you need to create a new plot if you are going to use both drives. You can only save time if you can plot on one faster drive then copy it over later. But sounds like you bought 2 of the same drive.

You have to create a second plot. All plots have to be different or they will overlap and not work.

@Vneck I say this as you can't use duplicate plots on the same machine, as you will overlap. Now if you copied the plot over to the 2nd drive and used another computer with a different pool, then perhaps that would work.

@Snoops thanks :)
