OVERLAPPING LIKE CRAZY .. haha Ran plot checker though .. please look *screenshots*
-
Im new to the plot checker .. the way i see it .. it is G and H being overlapped? but the miner says everything is off? (EDIT I see now that it says G & H) .. Do not want to reformat everything if i can avoid it but this is a mess...
Suggestion?
-
I would say G and H are over lapped you have the same starting nonce for both. If I remember correctly plots checker doesn't check for overlapping only for complete plot files.
-
@crutsy thats my thought.. hmm.. will let a couple more people comment before i play Plot Roulette (8tb each)deleting one at a time... even if i have to delete them both better than the whole lot.
Plot checker is awesome @Blago ty!
-
@darindarin yeah that is the name of the game. I think most everyone has had to replot at some point.
G & H gotta go :(
-
@darindarin Wow - thats seriously overlapped. Did you move files around or change drive lets while plotting? The initial digit of the plotfile starting nonce is based on the drive letter - so "6" would be F: - but none of your plots are on an F: drive.
The plotchecker only checks that the plotfile matches it's description, not that it's overlapped, so it won't help you.
You have to delete the overlaps and start over sorry.

@haitch i was plotting on a different computer manually.. not through AIO for some reason my command line was all weird and was getting errors. i just got back and rebuilt the rig and moved all HD's over.. The plot checker shows I have an F drive.. should I start by deleting G & H or just one of the two .. or the whole lot.. if this was your mess how would you approach?
-
What I did was just remove those drives one at a time from your mining config. That way you still have the plots. Gives you away to sort the drives. Then when you know that bad ones pull the trigger.
-
@crutsy you mean in the batch file config?
-
i should probably stop plotting anything new till i have this figured out huh?
-
@darindarin Yes for your miner.
-
@darindarin Find the largest of the overlapping files, delete the rest, then replot. If you need help figuring out out starting nonces, let us know and we can walk you through it.
-
@haitch i can use AIO now do i need to set nonces etc? or can i just let it run?
-
he second screen shoot of the plot checker id say H: and I: need wiped
-
never mind i read that wrong its G and H
lol name of drive is above plot file not below
G: and H: are the same and they also overlap with D: but id leave D: alone
-
@Gibsalot i thought the same at first.. im going to delete H .. both H & G are both single file 8tb plots.. haha.. joy.. was 2.5 days of plotting.. oh well .. will post an update to what works
thank you everyone for fast replies..
-
@darindarin Get the latest AIO and let it do the plotting - it'll take of unique nonces automagically.
-
-
@haitch downloaded a frech copy off team-burst website .. ty
-
@darindarin I'd wipe the D drive as well.
