problems with 5TB hard drive

So I went and bought myself a 5TB hard drive. It arrived today and I plugged it in.
I am told I do not have permission to access the folder and that I need to use the security tab to gain access to the folder. What can I do about this?

@Blago windows was unable to format the drive... :( Also, when trying to format it says the space is 4096 GB and not 5000 GB. why is this?

5000000000000 bytes = 5000000000000/(102410241024*1024) = 4.547 Tb
