jminer issue with windows (first time with this OS)
-
AS many of you know already I'm a linux guy, because of some GPU issues I decided to install windows in one of my miner compuer!
I installed openCL and java (version 1.8.0_131)
when I run the jminer I got this error:
java -jar -d64 -XX: +UseG1GC burstcoin-jminer-0.4.10-SNAPSHOT.jar Error: Unable to access jarfile burstcoin-jminer-0.4.10-SNAPSHOT.jarI hope to get a solution ASAP

@ccminer 4.10? As far as I knew the latest build was 4.9: https://github.com/de-luxe/burstcoin-jminer/releases
looking at the command line, I don't there should be a space between -xx: and +UseG1GC, apart from that, just make sure the jar file is in the same directory that you're launching the batch file from.

@haitch said in jminer issue with windows (first time with this OS):

I think the jar file does not exist at all

@ccminer Download and extract from the link I gave. If you're still having issues DM me and I can do a TV session with you.

@haitch ok it works now thx ;)

@ccminer 4.10 is not released yet, you could compile it yourself from the sources or use latest 4.9 release ... it is always a work in progress so sources may be more up-to-date than releases ...
Never use this button, or you just download the sources ...

Like @haitch said, always download the binaries from https://github.com/de-luxe/burstcoin-jminer/releases

If you want to compile the sources you will need maven (https://maven.apache.org/) for it. Once installed/setup, the command
mvn packagewithin the sources dir will create a new /dist directory containing a release zip with the jar file.
