@hah I didn't see what happened - so what happened ?
-
@hah Yes I think he has got fed up with me trading between 8 & 10 which is not helping the Asset sales so he took my advice. :-)
I guess it's a Market so anyone can do whatever they want? A Buy at that price stops anyone else from buying shares at less than the Asset Issuer price of 10 however eventually Market Forces will prevail and in the meantime he is making it very easy for anyone that wants to sell which they are still doing.
Since the wall went up 1354 Shares have been bought at 10 however 1700 have been sold back to Adam at effectively the same price.
Out of the 6.5 Million Shares still only 300 Thousand have sold and Adam now owns over 13% of those due to his attempts to prop up the Share price.
It's going to be interesting to see what the Dividend is Today and how it is justified and presented?

lmao He needs to practice some patience.
It is a open market. Had a few trades in there myself between 9.5 and 9.9 lol. Hey your right though he makes some great trading assets.
How bout Burst at 235sats and BTC at all time high again! Looking great
-
He was manipulating other assets for long time .. you know what they say about Karma?
-
@rnahlawi It may be manipulation and we all do it to some degree, but the nice thing about Burst Assets is that you can see exactly who is doing and has done what and when. :-)

SnakeEyes Sold down to 40 and no Buyers, does someone know something we don't?
Rich

@RichBC It seems to you little what has happened, at least in front of the casino was an irresponsible that was dedicated to distribute dividends when it had losses and even over with the change of actions the people lost half of its value.
You will now have to earn investor confidence again

anyone checked the AE and looked at 402 recently ???? huge movements all of the buy orders are gone they all got filled up ... it looks like MrWhale 5NFHJ also dubbled his amount of 402 shares to 16 mill. as it was mostly his buy orders that got filled by Mr Grey .. Mr Whale now holds more 402 shares than Mr Grey. btw im 99% sure i figured out who Mr Whale is.
-
can i ask a dumb question?
what did he exactly do with the Radio Asset? i havent gotten much into assets i feel i got hammered the few i did so i got out of quickly even tho loved the idea initially
-
So Adam's Buy wall at 9.99999999 on BNR has been gobbled up this Morning. I guess people have got fed up waiting for the first Dividend that was due Yesterday and are liquidating Assets to have Burst to Sell into the latest Meteoric Rise.
I do wonder if there is a bit of a flaw with Assets whose value does not increase with the Burst price? Although it would be handy if / when we go in the opposite direction?

@RichBC , what happened now with burst price is a temporary destruction of the AE
everyone is dumping assets to cash out...
the good news is, that when burst does fall back to the 200's , people will buy theirs back and hopefully be smart enough to buy assets again, but they will have even more purchasing power
problem is...if such a massive pump happens again, it will be the end of burst...
-
@RichBC It's a flaw and a feature. Because of strong Burst price change there is a lot of friction and volume in the Asset Exchange that is good for traders.
I see Burst price more stable in 5 or 10 years... so the Asset Exchange is not influenced so strongly. Also I want to add: Keep in mind, when you buy an Asset you sell your Burst for that share. You give away your Burst to get the Asset and vice versa.

Agree! I believe than in general it's healthier a smoother rise in value than a skyrocketing movement. The asset exchange is the heart of Burst indeed. But in any case good assets will survive :) The good stuff about this movement (despite we all have more value) is that it will also attract a lot of new people to burst.

Asset Thought for the Day - Hindsight is a wonderful thing.
I got into Burst about 15 Months ago having got fed up with the relentless treadmill of expense, heat and electricity consumption of Bitcoin Mining. I did not really think about Burst rising in value, just that investing in hard drives that would have value at the end of the Day was much better than the several generations of old Antminer I have just thrown on a skip.
Anyway I digress. If I could wind the clock back I would just have spent the several thousand Dollars I spent on Hard Drives and the other interface bits and pieces you need on buying Burst.
I would not have bothered with Mining or loosing money on Assets or the countless Hours I have spent on Forums getting and giving advice, or getting banned. I would have just got on with something else and watched my investment grow. Only decision would have been when to sell, and I would have been a lot better off than I am Today.
When I get the time I will do the maths on how much better off I would have been.
As they say hindsight is a wonderful thing. :-)

@RichBC i was doing math the other day when burst was still at like 200 and i was thinking im better off buying it directly than trying to mine it lol...

Asset Thought for the Day - Where will the Burst Price Stabilise and should you buy cheap Assets?
So the price seems to be in a strong downtrend / correction for the moment, but where will the new floor be? I really don't know what I am talking about, but I see the top end at 450, middle of the road is 350 or are we going back to 250?
Whatever moving onto Assets, of course they are cheap at the moment, everyone wanted to have Burst to sell, but should you be picking some up while there is still some uncertainty and blood on the streets and before people exchange their BTC back to increased amounts of Burst and wonder where to put it?
Again I really don't know, however if there are Assets where you have a lot of faith in the Asset Issuer, there is opportunity for the Burst value to grow, they are not prating about selling Shares cheap then maybee you should buy some to tuck away for the future?
I am far from certain going forward that I will view Assets as anything other than a Trading opportunity and will prefer the liquidity in times of change that holding burst offers. But what do you think?
Rich

@RichBC I think that in any case is recommended to keep a portion of our portfolio in Burst and in Asset, let's say 50-50% sounds pretty reasonable to me, and in times like now when the price moves up the ratio could be adjusted depending on the special cases and needs, e.g. 60% cash - 40% in assets or even 70%-30%... As you said the trading opportunity in the AE is important and a very special feature of Burst. I myself have invested many times much more in assets and have less than 50% in cash, which is somehitng I should be more disciplined in the future :) The last tool provided by @nameless and Iceburst is just brilliant and may help a lot on proper management of our accounts.

The asset exchange is why I feel in love with Burst however it has brought upon me much grief.
One of the worst moves I've made as a AE trader is putting some of my trading profits into holding assets. Burst hits high and now I'm stuck with hundreds of thousands of coins in a few assets that their are absolutely no buy orders for.
My advice to anyone would be to just trade the asset exchange for profits and keep 90% of your value in coins. The coin itself is by far the superior asset.

Just my 2 pennies here on what you wrote.
What gives burst value? Without the asset exchange, what is burst? nothing more than a slow coin, very vulnerable and unstable, with limited block capacity and so much more wrong.
Truth be told... burst is a shit coin... But it's a shit coin that has one major advantage : THE ASSET EXCHANGEThis is where people invest, trade, the AE is the engine of burst. It's what gives it volume and keeps it alive by creating supply and demand on the market.
Sure, burst pumped now to fuck me and beyond, but in times of low liquidity when burst was merely trading 5-10 btc per day for the past 3 years, it was the assets that were helping keep our shitcoin alive.I can go deeper into the subject if you want, but i think you got the idea : AE dies, burst dies with it.
@Dillion , please don't take this response as a critique. You have a valid point about trading the AE for coin as much as possible. I just wanted to point out some things you missed in your point :)
*someone please make a ''i love my shitcoin tshirt''

Even though the major advantage of Burst is the AE, it will not take long for technology to evolve and adapt, many people believe that the way to go is to implement onchain/offchain solutions so that thousands of transactions per second can be handled in a secure and decentralized way. I read this article some days ago about this issue. When there be a platform offering this kind of solutions, which advantage will have Burst to offer? Some thoughts about that as well from my side...
