Can I mine without pool ?
-
Okey, i have tried but the miner just print the ram size :" RAM : 6144 Mb" and the miner don't go forward :/
-
@LeoFrk2 But you have local wallet running at http://localhost:8125 ?
-
I have local wallet but idk if it is running at localhost:8125
-
@LeoFrk2 just open in browser, and you know ...
-
Yep i'm in localhost and wallet is running at localhost
-
@LeoFrk2 than kind of
{ "Mode" : "solo", "UpdaterAddr" : "127.0.0.1", "UpdaterPort": 8125, "Paths":[ .... ....should work, no idea what the problem could be than ...
-
And if i take a pool, what is the minimum payout ?
Because i have tried to mine with a pool but i don't have my burst on my account..
-
@LeoFrk2 Pools pay out at ~300 or after 24h as far as i remember.
-
@LeoFrk2 can you show screenshot?
-
Screenshot of what window ?
-
{
"Mode" : "solo",
"Server" : "127.0.0.1",
"Port" : 8125,"UpdaterAddr" : "127.0.0.1",
"UpdaterPort" : 8125,"InfoAddr" : "127.0.0.1",
"InfoPort" : 8125,"EnableProxy" : false,
"ProxyPort" : 8126,"Paths":
[
"J:\Burst\plots","E:\Burst\plots"
],
"CacheSize" : 100000,
"ShowMsg" : false,
"ShowUpdates" : false,"Debug" : true,
"SendBestOnly" : true,
"TargetDeadline": 6048000,"UseFastRcv" : false,
"SendInterval" : 100,
"UpdateInterval" : 950,"UseLog" : true,
"ShowWinner" : false,
"UseBoost" : false,"WinSizeX" : 80,
"WinSizeY" : 60
}Is it good when i put this in miner.conf ?
Because when i manualy launch the miner-v1.160705.exe, i have a new error : Json Format error (offset 216) check miner.conf
Invalid escape charcahter in string.
When i launch the miner with the local wallet, it's in a pool : pool.burstcoin.eu, i need to write something in "choose pool" no ?
-
@LeoFrk2 In the Paths field you need double backslashes - \\ not just \
-
Also like this :
{
"Mode" : "solo",
"Server" : "127.0.0.1",
"Port" : 8125,"UpdaterAddr" : "127.0.0.1",
"UpdaterPort" : 8125,"InfoAddr" : "127.0.0.1",
"InfoPort" : 8125,"EnableProxy" : false,
"ProxyPort" : 8126,"Paths":
[
"J:\\Burst\\plots","E:\\Burst\\plots"
],
"CacheSize" : 100000,
"ShowMsg" : false,
"ShowUpdates" : false,"Debug" : true,
"SendBestOnly" : true,
"TargetDeadline": 6048000,"UseFastRcv" : false,
"SendInterval" : 100,
"UpdateInterval" : 950,"UseLog" : true,
"ShowWinner" : false,
"UseBoost" : false,"WinSizeX" : 80,
"WinSizeY" : 60
}
-
@LeoFrk2 That looks correct, are you still getting errors ?
-
Yes, when i launche the miner.exe the window close directly after open..
-
@LeoFrk2 put a "pause" command after the miner statement in the batch file, that way it'll show the error.
-
-
@LeoFrk2 okay, open a cmd session, cd into the miner directory, and run the miner executable - it'll show the error.
-
-
@LeoFrk2 it just quits without an error? I've never seen that behavior.
