why is xplotter making my stagger so high?
-
im using xplotter to plot my 5tb external, and its making my stagger size the number of nonces im plotting? is this normal, or anyone else experience this?
-
@elesdii XPlotter create optimized plots https://forums.burst-team.us/topic/288/plots-101/3
-
@Blago yea i know it plots them already optimized, just didnt know the stagger would be the # of nonces because its plotting them optimized. but cool tho, thank you! i appreciate it! while your here or anyone reading this thread, would anyone be able to help me out with my gpu settings so i can GPU plot? i seem to be having trouble figuring out the settings for it to work
-
@elesdii GPU name? post config, *.bat
-
@Blago using "gpuplotgenerator" gtx 970 and in the "devices.txt" file i have 0 0 1024 128 8192
i can hop in discord, or any voice if it'd be easier to troubleshoot

@elesdii This guide may help you: https://github.com/bhamon/gpuPlotGenerator#setup

@elesdii gpuplotgenerator can be really fussy, especially with nvidia cards. Here's a config that works well with my gtx 1070:
Edit the 'devices.txt' file:
0 0 4096 512 128Create a 'makeplots.bat' file:
gpuPlotGenerator generate direct E://Burst/plots/0123456789_0_1525760_10240 F://Burst/plots/0123456789_32040960_1525760_10240 timeout /t 600 gpuPlotGenerator generate direct E://Burst/plots/0123456789_3051520_1525760_10240 F://Burst/plots/0123456789_33566720_1525760_10240 :: more lines...And like the guide @luxe posted states, it's best to use a separate GPU for plotting and a separate one for display.

Okay ill try that setting when i get home from work, and let you know what happens. Thanks.
