Problem with me, machine, miner or wallet?

I noticed that this has been happening to me a lot.. After a lot of nonconfirmed dl's i used to shut down miner and restart to get better results. Now if that happens.. with a dozen or so non confirmed Dls i shut down miner and restart and get a blank miner. i am using 1.2.8 wallet
I thought maybe my reward assignment was the problem.. nope.
only way for me to resolve is to reboot or change pools and go back.maybe if i reboot windows explorer?
thoughts?

it's connections problem (maybe pool is down)
you can check miner's log in Logs folder

Pool was down for a bit last night.

I noticed a slow start up for my miner last night too. Problem was corrected after some patient waiting
