A serious problem with the block-Explorer
-
Can someone make it so that the Explorer blocks at least 1 time in a day to do a reconciliation with a normal blockchain and delete the incorrect transaction from the database?
Otherwise problems occur with the exchanges.For example, the transaction appears in block Explorer:
http://burstcoin.biz/transaction/13584151046531225333But in fact it does not exist (If you check transaction through the wallet)!
How to prove to the exchanger that the transaction was not? They run and send the block Explorer.

@daWallet, @haitch
Please check and remove all incorrect transaction from the block Explorer.For example, In block #345025 I found an incorrect 91 transaction, you need to remove:

@emcb I can see the transaction, 300 BURST have been moved
-
@ccminer
You are looking through your wallet or through the block Explorer?
-
@emcb Me too, maybe I should explain better what you're referring to
-
@Energy
You see the transaction 13584151046531225333 using the block Explorer or through your wallet?
-
@Energy
Judging by the screenshot, you check in the Explorer blocks. But you need to check through the purse:

-
@emcb But where is the error in http://burstcoin.biz or in the wallet?
If the error is in the http://burstcoin.biz browser I do not think this affects the network , because they are simply data that are in a database, or so it seems.
Another thing would be that the error was in the wallet, but if it is better reason to wait for @haitch or @daWallet who are the ones who know
-
@Energy The issue is that what's in the BlockEx may reflect transactions that happened on a fork. So the the BlockEx may say a transaction occurred, where in reality the BlockChain eventually rejected the transaction. I'm looking at how to resync the BlockChain and the DB - but it's complex. It's means validating that the 5 million transactions in the DB exist on the blockchain, and then verifying every transaction on the BlockChain also exists in the DB.

The problem is that Poloniex looks only at http://burstcoin.biz
And if there's an error, it is impossible for them to prove something (they refuse to watch the transaction via the wallet).

Manually it can not be done )
I hope that something will turn out to automate the process, because if the problem is not solved, it will constantly appear again.
-
@haitch If that I understand, but I mean that although the error is in http://burstcoin.biz that does not affect the network, right? They are only data that are in mysql database not in the Blockchain.
@emcb Sorry I'm a little lost I do not know what you mean by poloniex.
-
@emcb The process can be automated, but I'm a novice at PHP, so I'm looking for a PHP programmer to implement it. I know what needs to be done, but need someone to write the code. I'm also looking at whether it can be done via a pop-off method where we go back X blocks, and then re-sync. The problem is known, and we are working on solutions for it.

When you withdraw funds from Poloniex, as proof of the transaction they are using the site http://burstcoin.biz
Thus, they say that the funds were sent, and as evidence link to the transaction on the http://burstcoin.biz.
But in fact the transaction may not exist.
-
@emcb When you make a transaction in poloniex does it in the blockchain and the transaction should get to you, another thing is that later use on external blockexplorer to display the data
-
@Energy
If the transactions happened on a fork, it will not get to me.
-
@emcb I think this is not so during the forks to me the transactions have arrived late but they arrived, but as I say this is something of the experts, I would also like it to be a bit more explained all

-
@emcb never had problems with polo.
Sometimes in HISTORY you can see your withdrawals as processed, but if you check the id on the block explorer or with your wallet it doesn't exist, just be patient and it will shows up ;)
-
@ccminer
This means that you are lucky. If ever you will withdraw funds from Polo, and the transaction will get to the fork, you will prove that the coins did not come to you, but they will point to the block Explorer that will show that the transaction was executed.
