Something noted elsewhere on the forums is the download link may redirect you to a 'confirm your identity' splashpage with no download.
To get around this you need to remove the 's' from 'https://'
Then it works fine
-
@Acanterelle https shouldn't be an issue, but you do need to specify the db.zip part of the url.
-
@haitch when i use the link i only get a file that are 88kb.. :(
-
@draytek What browser are you using? https://db.burst-team.us/db.zip sends me a 2.8GB file.
-
@haitch

@draytek @haitch
Yesterday I could not load database - constant disconnections (using download Manager, I was able to download only 50 Mb in a few hours).
Now, by the way, the same thing.

I had same issue a few days back, I wiped db and uninstalled AIO I was using and reset up rig. When you reset up you are able to choose how you want to sync your local wallet. I chose all cores to re sync, ran about 8 hours while I slept, wake up its done.
Other thought is to download db and sideload that into the correct directory. I did this when I initially started burstcoin. However, I downloaded the file from a 3rd party and it was corrupted. :/ ? Anyway, if your using AIO, try uninstalling and reinstalling.

@haitch I can not download it either.
When it starts it tells me that it is 2 days, then it goes to 3,4,7 and there it stops counting and it does not download

@Syrne i have clened out db and reinstalled the burst wallet for windows and when i dl the chain it stops at 96% and the wallet will not respond.. any ide? i can use online wallet tho?

Personally I use online wallet, only use local wallet when I'm at the machine.
Use online as much as you wish, but be smart about what your doing online with your wallet. Gnome sayin?
