In the mother of all co-incidences, now that my infrastructure is protected against DDoS attacks, the promoters of everything Burst have decided its a good time to screw up everyone's transactions and wallets again by "making it rain".
All the pools I manage have been changed over to manual payouts until the weather improves.

@haitch I thought it was an interesting coincidence that when the Ddos started the rain stopped?
Also I note that the fee has now been reduced to only 1.0001 so it looks like "Benefiting Miners" is no longer the objective?

Only missed one block on that last freeze just a few minutes ago. Almost switched pools, glad I waited it out. Great job Haitch its all working way better now. Much appreciated.

The thing I wonder...is if the rain is being sent into empty and abandoned wallets. If this is what I think it is, isn't that burst just going to disappear forever.

@luxe Can you give us a brief explanation of what those node transitions mean?

@RichBC Sure, the observer requests 'getMiningInfo' every 15 sec from the listed nodes ... miningInfo contains actual mined block height and generationSignature for current mined block ... different generationSignatures for same block height indicate forks ... the chart is a graphical representation of that data over the last 10 blocks.
So you are able to see (at least based on the data the observer received) what is currently happening in the chain.

Now everything behind again except Ninja and the Mining CLub. Lextoshi pool is even behind by a few blocks. Edit....oh I see another round of rain for 2 coins.....gosh bless

Although it looks like it was not expecting decimal places on the fee? I thought I had read that decimal places did not work on Fees?

What's the damned goal here anyway? How does this help anyone (including the responsible party) improve themselves, the community or the platform? Who is gaining what?

Its my guess that the winning blocks, fees and forges all goto the perpetrators. Remember when you see a free rain it also contains a fee, that could be double. I have cashed out of most of my burst as it won't hurt me.

@luxe Last time it was Ninja and Mining Club. That when Ninja was able to over come its block payout back log. So can we make this more trust worthy?
