Limit of using external hard drives on a single PC
-
Is there any limit of using external hard drives on a single PC Windows 8 (64 bits) in terms of storage capacity in Tb? ( I heard about the number of drives will be limited from A to Z but not sure about the capacity). Any thoughts?

@dkali1 your drives will be limited by a to z minus your C drive.
on linux theres no max amount of drive letters. once you reach ZZ you go to ZZA etc

@dkali1 A,B and C cannot be used, drive letters from D-Z are available and THEN you can mount extra drives to any available NTFS volume without any limitation to drive numbers:

@rnahlawi Thanks for your reply. Up-to how many TBs can be used?
-
@dkali1 Limitation will be the number of drives your Motherboard SATA Ports/USB Ports/Addon SATA Controller Ports/Powersupply .. Consider the previous for a large farm. In Theory, Sky is the limit!

@rnahlawi Ok, thanks
