Miner is at Block 71,000...

I'm back to burstcoin mining after about 4 months or so of inactivity. I launched my miner at it's currently going through all the old block - starting at 71.000..... is there anyway to get it to jump over these and get to the current block faster?

I believe no as it needs to sync with the blockchain.

It is syncing with the Blockchain.... but its really really really far behind...
