BTFG Burst Pool: The Pool for Small Miners
-
@socalguy Ok let me read thanks
-
@shaleen1604
pool is a reliable one.With 1 TB to mine it could take some time for your payout. I am currently mining with ~ 25TB there and get multiple daily payouts, so nothing to worry about imo as Long as you see confirmed DL in your miner plus seeing your BURST Id at the pool site
-
Pool Looks down again since about 18:00 CET
-
No one know how to run a fucking pool.
All pools are fucked for burst.
-
@Hitti2 It sounds like you are smart enough to create your own so get to work. Have a wonderful day!
-
I thought this was a pool for small miners... Isn't the whole point of a pool to help the little guys get into the hobby a little easier, and less quickly discouraged???
I'm running about 1.5 and getting ready to add another 1.5 -> if this isn't the little kids wading pool, what ARE the ones the little guys are supposed to be getting into? - Seems to me, the pools are cornered by "~ 25TB" folks.
-
I swear crap always happens when i am asleep.. Ok here we go.
@shaleen1604 pool minimum payment is 20 burst. until it reaches that point it is held in pending. You can see your pending under "Current round shares" under the pending burst column.
@Hitti2 pools go down at times, it is what happens. When it does it when im awake, no one notices, I got an admin trained up to restart the pool when it happens while I am asleep now. we hopefully wont have long downtimes due to physical needs. That being said, ill be scheduling in a pool restart once a week, wont affect anything, but it allows me to restart vps and clear the memory. entire process will take 5 min max when i do it
@Rossman01 being a pool dedicated to help small miners doesnt mean larger miners arnt allowed, in fact the larger miners help bring in the pay for everyone. These are the settings that help out the smaller miners.
-
90% cumulative fund reduction: Round the block is found in only gets 10% of the block, rest is given to historical shares. means a small miner finding a deadline but not winning the block will still get a fair pay when block is found
-
Payout by share only. Block winner does NOT automatically get a portion of the block. No 60/40 rule here, you are paid for what you submit.
-
Recycling rounding differences: Take a look at other pools, see how they got a large balance? thats because rounding differences will increase pool fund over time, never getting paid out to miners. My pool pays it out. Each block we win pays out (Total fund-pending-3000), or block reward, whichever is greater. At the moment, my pool pays out about 2500-3000 per block won. (split into pending and actual payments)
-
Because of the above change, we use some of the excess that is created to buy tickets into ant lotto. When we win, that is put into the pool to be given to block finders as well.
so as you see, a large miner does not have a real advantage, and in fact, once they get large enough, they will make less on this pool than they would elsewhere. Oh, and the setup makes it hard for pool hoppers to profit :P
Have fun!

Okies, that sounds great. I'm still pretty new to all this, and there is so much info I can get overwhelmed and easily confused. Thanks for the clarity.
-
@Hitti2 I just don't get you. You start insulting people because that don't work, thats not right..
When is the last time you did something in your life?
-
@Valareos is it up now?
the ppol i was in has been down and/or hasn't paid since the 29th
-
@falconCoin yup it is up
-
@Valareos ok im moving over is 3 TB too much? i may have like 3.7
-
@falconCoin no thats fine :) we not too concerned of the size you bring?
-
@Valareos joining pool, I like the way the pool is run by the settings you put up above ^^
-
@Valareos Hey, you have any intentions of switching your pool to Ninja pool v3?
-
@HiDevin Nope! I am quite happy with the Lex Pool code
-
@Hitti2 Throwing a tantrum like a 2 year old child will not get your issue fixed, this is a community based forum, ie no one gets paid, if you have an issue, provide details and screenshots and be civil, then and only then will people help you. Burst has a learning curve, be patient, read and learn.

@hitti2 got even more fed up - another post later on says, "I'm outties!!" - so really, if one is going to act like that, Good riddance, anyway.

Hi guys I need help I'm new in mining burst I've 2TB HDD I'm only using 1204 GB my blocks are getting confirmed also however I've not received any payment to my wallet. Pool website was showing I've over 70 Shares. They have not sent my any burst. I was getting daily on different pool but http://burst.btfg.space have not sent any. Please help guys.
mining here 24 hours no payment , real shit happening now

The pool is a very good one as so far as I see it. It gives more than fair payout and encourages small miners due to the payout structure. Downtime happens but thats the way it is, its the same with every other pool out there for one or another reason. I see a very encouraged pool runner/admin whos doing a great Job and earning less what he probably could, contributing part of his Money/time to the community.
I Support the pool currently with about 20-22 TB - not that much I know but also not a beginners miner putting his 400 GB in hes just have to spare.
I dont mind getting like 10% less or so than on any other pool with my current TB but planing to expand a Little bit and will add every other TB to this pool to help new/small miners get their fair share and having phun... hopefully.
