BTFG Burst Pool: The Pool for Small Miners
-
I'm having the same problem... the pools list says there are miners but web browsers only return 'connection has timed out.'
Really looking forward to btfg being back up ^_^
-
@Acanterelle The observer is not 100% accurate:
-
The number of miners is the number of miners that have their Reward Recipient set to the pool - it does not mean they are active miners or the pool is active.
-
The Blocks found and Blockfinders is based on the stats of the individual miners registered at the pool over the last 10 days. If I had mined 100 Blocks over the last 10 days, then joined this pool today, the observer would show that pool as having found those 100 blocks.
-
-
Thanks for the clarification, I suspected the number wasn't right... the nose dive from somewhere in the middle right down to last position kind of a giveaway ;).
-
@Acanterelle Yeah, don't know what's happened - but the pool does not seem to be active currently.
-
Apologies! My server motherboard decided to burn out (literally). I have moved it to a vps which was on the agenda for a while, this just pushed it foward. It is now back up.
If you cant access through burst.btfg.space, it is because dns hasnt propagated to you yet. You can use 45.58.62.236 instead (it is the ip of the server)
-
btw, https://discord.gg/UeqDz6p is the discord for the pool, I try to update issues in there first
-
@Valareos thanks for the update on the situation. For miners, I'd recommend sticking with the DNS name, VPS IP's can change. To clear the old address from your DNS cache, open a command prompt as admin and do "ipconfig /flushdns"
-
@haitch god i hope the vps address dont change too much, it means me having to manually update the dns entry each time :P
-
@Valareos It depends on your provider, most have static IPs, but I have seen AWS servers change IP for the guest VM.
-
@haitch running on solvps (cause unlimited bandwidth is included with price :P)
-
Dis Pool down again since a couple of hours for me..
Been mining there since a couple of days with Close to 10 TB, fair payouts, but reliability has to be sorted out.
-
Pool is up again by the Looks of it.
Still - some Kind of Feedback from the pool owners towards their Investors would be nice.
There IS other pools out there hunting for my and others cash via pool fees and stuff.. :-)
-
@Marc I do most of the communication through our discord server. feel free to find the link either on the pool page, or in this very forum. And given we just moved to to vps, there always hiccups. I have, however, added a second admin who is in differnt time zone who can sort out most pool connection issues if pool goes down when im asleep
-
Pool is down for me.
-
yup, the discord server has the info, stuck wallet sucks, working as fast as I can
-
it back up. What happened is the vps company had a major node that went down, which crashed the vps and pool.
which then meant corrupted wallet file that i had to pop off blocks to fix
-
@Valareos Hi where and how can i see how much coin i have mined please let me know thanks?
-
@danyelk are you asking to know how much you mined total? you can go to http://burstcoin.biz, put your address in and get that info easilly. If your after how much is pending, go to burst.btfg.space, wait a block, then look under pending burst in CUrrent round shares

Not a very good pool. Been mining over 24 hours and only seeing 7 BURST mined so far on the site, nothing in wallet.
m.burst4all.com gave me about 30 BURST every single day.
