How does the Burst Mining work?, and when should i recieve my burst points whe mining in pool?

How does the mining in BurstCoin Mining work? I am currently mining in a pool, when can i expect to see the results of my mining in the form of a number other than 0 in the account ballance secction of the Dashboard in the Burst Client for windows?, this is really confusing and any help would be greatly appreciated.

- im new to this but, how could you have started mining without Burst? It costs 1 to start right?

most pools pay out after 300 burst mined, or every 24 hours
